Hello, I just started my first character a few days ago. I'm 14 as you may see from my avatar.

As a reward from a quest I got a charm that recovered my MP if it fell below (i think) 75%. It ran out yesterday, where can I obtain another? Why can't I take it off once I equip it?

Thanks

Charms have a built in bind. Therefore, once it is equipped you are stuck with it.

And I am curious as to the quest....this is b/c charms are purchased either form the Boutique (aka Cash Shop), or from another player who is selling them. There is 3 versions...gold, silver and bronze.

Although I can say that I did not utilize charms for hp/mp until are level 50+.....

You'll get charm once you finish a quest from elder. At human quest, it is "Try to leap" quest. The reward is small guardian charm or small guardian spirit.

So I should probably live without charms for now, or are they affordable enough to purchase?

You can live without them. They can be cheaper than pots, but prices of charms have been fluctuating a good bit lately (due to a number of things affecting the in-game market for cas shop currency), but I think that is still true. If you are using so many pots that it is a big expense (or, you would just prefer the convenience of the charm being an auto-pot), you can buy them from other players or buy gold (the cash shop currency) at any auctioneer.

at your lvl it may be a tough investment for a charm i would probably suggest trying to mine herbs to make the apothecracy things for mp recovery to help you out

A Charm to buy, on my server is 80-120k.

So as a low level with hardly any money, i was not able to use/buy a new charm after the quest one ran out.

If you really feel like you need it, spend some days making money, and you should get a charm in no time, from a kitty shop, or a friend. It all depends on who and how you play... in perfect world.

You don't need a charm.I have been out since lvl 32 and I am doing fine I just use plenty of mana potions.I had gold one as well it would be nice if they lasted more than month.

The quest for the Elves is Try your wings which is is easy for us don't know about the untamed and humans.b:laugh
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

In general, you don't need a charm unless you
    1) do TW's
    2) zhen
    3) do TT's with squads close enough to the minimum required level that's it's better to be safe for the tank to get a HP charm
    4) do TT's where the cleric BB's long enough to need an MP charm
    5) fight world bosses with 24MM HP such that the healing clerics need a ton of pots or just get a charm

When you hit like 60+... if you are in a team and don't have a charm... its pretty frowned upon. I will personally never got without a MP charm again, just because of the faster grinding etc. I've actually started making more money with a charm than without, because the time that you'd normally spend meditating you are killing and getting more drops... so I've usually got enough coins for a new charm with 2/3 of the old charm left
