Didn't know there were lvl 92 skills. 3 starter books drop in fb89. All the other lvl 89 (maybe 92 mixed in) drop in fb99 last boss. Lvl 99 books are from cube or fb109(not implemented).

Yes you have to be planning to reach level 100+ if you want those skills, and yes I am planning on reach those levels, by the time I reach 99 the fb 109 dungeon will be in LOL I am a slow leveler, and having 7M+ exp bars does not help at all >.>, if you are planning on dropping the game soon yes I guess you can base your pick on level 89 skills alone, but in my case I hope to reach higher levels if yes not soon, in some months at least.

And about ironheart I think at level 10 is powerful enough if you are pure magic like me, surely the sage / demon version is nice but is too costly, IMO the best part of ironheart is its magic attack based healing and that takes a slight increase. My mp is always a problem and that upgrade will seriously not help me at all, I already burn 2 gold MP charms every 2-4 days, and a single ironheart keep me full even while taking 500-700 dmg from monster, so I suggest to skip it if you are pure magic, or take it if you have MP charms to spare.

spirit's gift, which everybody seems to be choosing demon for, is only dropped from fb109 and gotten from pages given in cube rooms 50+. fb109 isn't accessable yet and cube rooms 50+ aren't translated. you're basically choosing demon and sage on your level 89 skills.

Taking a glance at the demon/sage skills, I notice one immediate difference: Sage heals a LOT more than the demon will ever be able to. So Sage clerics will be more asked for in parties, simply because they can keep a tank alive much more efficiently. The demon, however, is more versatile, and can do more damage. The Sage seems centered around restoring HP and MP, while the demon seems centered around saving and regaining Chi.

I'm still gonna go Demon, though. b:victory Just fits my style of fighting much better.

it's impossible to get level 92 skills and most never see 99. unless you actually plan on waiting for 99, sage seems a lot better.

92 skills arent impossible, i have one.

so many people forget about probably the most important skill sage gets:

free 50 chi every 60 seconds.

and realize that you aren't going to get every skill possible so dont base it off the fact demon has so many better skills. realistically, if you arent even 89 yet, look at the 89 skills that drop from fb89.

When relooking at this now I think I would go sage.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

A quick argument for Demon Ironheart: it can heal the tank's mana, making him waste less MP potions for skills. Your heals should be strong enough to keep him alive anyway, so giving him MP would be a nice bonus.

That said, I'm definitely going Sage. I'm a PvEer at heart, and the Sage skills seem much better for PvE purposes. I am built as a damage-dealer (mostly pure mag build), but... the Demon skills seem especially tailored for a little extra burst damage in PvP, and since I don't PvP much, I see no reason to invest in that kind of skill. Plus, as an actual person, I'm definitely more of a Sage than a Demon, though that really has no bearing on this game!

    We are not your slaves,
    We are not your babysitters,
We are not your personal med-pack,
    We are Clerics, god dammit,
And if your death means the survival of the squad as a whole,
    Well...I'll see you in hell...
