Lucky Cards?

What do I do with Lucky Cards? I can't figure out what they're for. I'd apperciate some explanation on this.

    Right click on them, you should get mp/hp pots =)

    You can other times get random items that aren't HP/MP pots. I keep getting Big-Head Kid and Pumpkin Head Pills from them...O.o; That's all I ever get from them.

    The lucky items give hp/mp potions plus a chance at 2 pills and a shard. I've got physical, magic, and accuracy shards from them.

    The pills are just for fun. They make your head look like whatever the pill says for a short period of time. However, venomancers can't use them.
