Blue Screen error

I've been playing perfect world since before Christmas and never had a problem. However, yesterday, March 22, 2009, I was dialoging with my faction when suddenly my computer shut itself off abruptly and then restarted on its own. I had to restart manually because the screen froze on the opening screen. When I restarted it, it said I had a 'blue screen error'. I followed the directions it told me to follow, then tried to get back into perfect world. I got the start screen and clicked 'start' like I always do, the screen went black, like it normally does, and suddenly my computer restarted. Please, if anyone can help me find out what's wrong, it would be much appreciated. A have a Windows XP.

    Next time it happens, could you write down what error message appears on the blue screen? That'll provide information as to specifically what's causing it.
