Everyone has the same face/hair

This started out as a problem on my desktop, and I assumed it was due the very low powered video card (64MB, 33Mhz). Or that it was only on my brother's account, since he uses my desktop when he comes here and I play on my laptop.

However, just last week when I signed on on my laptop, which I did not have this problem with, and has a much more powerful video card (I can run full detail at 1440 x 900 without a hiccup), bam, everyone's face and hair is the same thing, other than mine.

When I click on them, the selection panel at the top of the screen shows what they should look like, however their avatar/character remains the same, with a very pale face and mid-length silver hair.

I have tried reinstalling the client, but the problem persists.

Open up the Game settings and go to the UI tab. Make sure customizations box is checked.

That was the first thing I assumed it was as well, since I was using CTRL+F9 during a high latency period, but checking the box and pressing Apply has no change whatsoever.

I had the same problem, Auruax. Then I went to the settings and changed my overall graphics level. It was set on highest, so I reduced it to the next lower one. And it worked. All faces were normal again.

Pretty outlandish if you ask me. Why would the highest setting actually give you less graphics? Well, anyway. Maybe it's just my comp.
