EVENT: Avatar Mix and Match! Friday (March 20)!!

Friday is all about fun (or at least it should be) so be sure to peel yourself off of the Lay-Z Boy and fire up the ol' computer to join in the merriment and festivities of our first ever Avatar Mix and Match!

Here's how this Mix and Match will play itself out:

At the posted times for each server a GM will be in the middle of Archosaur. Once the crowd is at a decent size the GM will kick this event off with Round #1. For this round the GM will broadcast a specific 2 man party combo that she would like to see (example - a 2 man party with at least 1 blonde haired character). The GM will then teleport to a different location and broadcast a hint to their new location. You will then need to FIND another player that fits the description to give you the proper 2-man party and then seek and find the GM. The first CORRECT party (your group must find the GM and stand before him/her to be considered valid) that finds the GM wins prizes for everyone in the group!

This Avatar Mix and Match event will take place over 3 rounds. Round 1 will seek the correct party of 2. Round #2 will seek the correct party of 4. And Round #3 will involve a party of 6! As an added element of challenge each round will see the GM going off to progressively more challenging locations. Also, this event will be designed for players of ALL levels so don't be afraid to show up because you have yet to hit level 7. In fact you may be the missing link needed to help your group finish!

Don't be late and miss out on the fun! What more could you ask for? Fun! Prizes! and a great way to make new friends on your server!

The Avatar Mix and Match will take place on the following servers at the specified times:

HARSHLANDS: 4 p.m. (pacific)/7 p.m. (eastern)
DREAMWEAVER: 4 p.m. (pacific)/7 p.m. (eastern)
HEAVENS TEAR: 6 p.m. (pacific)/9 p.m. (eastern)
LOST CITY: 6 p.m. (pacific)/9 p.m. (eastern)
SANCTUARY: 6 p.m. (pacific)/9 p.m. (eastern)

    ehhe but yet if the GM asked for a hot couple, I'd be in it. xP

    May sell alot of make over scrolls too who knows lol.

    This event sounds crazy:P Im sure it will be fun!
    Making new char..Which one? I have a BM..but I want more damage and stuff to do..

    Experienced players contact with the cons n pros of there class and where to put points n what skills to up ASAP thanks..

    Too bad for barbarians who can only choose between 3 faces. b:surrender Best have an alt character ready for this one like a cleric who can fly at lvl 1. Actually you won't need any makeover scrolls at all if you think about it. When you create a new character, you get 2 days of free makeover service at the character selection screen for that character. Just choose a cleric so you can fly at level 1 if flying needs to be done.

    To clarify, makeover scrolls aren't necessary for this event. The example I used for the 2-man party combo is just that - an example.

    The party combo's the GM's will announce will range in everything from specific classes, specific genders and specific level ranges.

    Just a quick reminder that the first set of the Avatar Mix and Match events will be starting up in approximately 1 hours and 20 minutes as I post this (2:20 p.m.).

    First up will be Dreamweaver and Harshlands at 4 p.m. Pacific. see yaz there!

    First stop Dreamweaver.... then two hours later Heavens Tear. Got it.

    Since the states have moved an hour ahead while some other countries haven't yet, this may cause some people to be late. b:laugh

    It wasn't. Some people didn't even get a chance as they were left out unable to find a squad or find enough members. A few people, including me, got left out 3/3 times.

    I don't know what the Heavens Tear would be like....since it's overpopulated and I'm a wizard (not a common veno) there I should stand a much better chance....but good luck to all those who are venomancers on there.

    Best chances are with your own faction members but too bad my faction hasn't bee on much lately. Best luck to us all for I'll be on my wizard for this event.

    Well it's the second round at the moment. Two of the squad being a level 3-10 character and another 10-30. I can understand 10-30, but level 3-10s wouldn't be in Archosaur where the event met up.

    I made it to the last event on DW but one of our lvl 7's kept dying and we didn't make it fully...

    sry GMs but in my opinion. Once you started with the levels requireents you ruined the event. This event was nothing like what I expected and I was greatly disappointed.

    Advice for if you do anything like this again: Don't have it that we need certain leveled characters, esspecially newbies.

    Very disappointing event, not only was it super hard to find people (as most people would ignore you and team up with friends and whatnot) but the requirements became a little ridiculous, not to mention the clues were barbaric.

    I'm disappointed.

    I thought about color.. I like my hair, and thought it would be like that in your example.. the last hint for requirements was obvious lol, 1 of each class... so yeah, wasted 20% exp and an hour... oh well, hope your next event isn't all one man wining...

    Ditto, I really didn't think level was going to come into it, of all the things they could have asked for, they chose the most stupid of level requirements.

    Lol, I've only been to Buried Bones like once before, and I never considered those enemies slugs... more like lizards.

    We had the pt, miraculously. Low level female alts lol, but we didn't get there in time.

    ha this event was awesome so much fun. quit yer bitching plz about level requirements. I felt really popular cuz like 7 different groups were begging me to join.

    The GM's was all really friendly to us all so it was great and lag was not issue. So nice to experience actual GM run events here. good quality and not like other versions of PW i play before.
