Not show you're online?

Is there a way to be able to ork on a character but show on the friendlist that you're not online?
Everytime I sign on I get bombarded with whispers from my friends, which isn't usually a bad thing, but after a while, I'd like to just work on leveling up instead of talking. haha.

    The only way I know of is if you go into the System Settings and then -> Game -> Auto Reply , click that and let the system inform ALL players that your are AKF or just not available - you would not have to reply to each and every "wisper"
