Gold to pwi coin conversion ?

Ok from the Zen site I found this:
Conversation Rate: 100 ZEN = 1 Gold = 100 Silver
My question is - in game - are the coins we get Silver? b:embarrass
Or if not - how do you convert 1 gold to the value in game coin?
Say I buy an extension stone with gold - how do I convert that to game coin values to place it up for sale?

The -totally-in-game monsters-drop-this game currency is called "coins".
You can transfer Coins into Gold and Silver by buying Gold and Silver from other players through the Auctioneer. The prices are likely to vary -- probably dramatically -- but the current exchange rate tends to hover around 100,000 - 120,000 coins = 1 Gold. The Auctioneer can also do the same in reverse, if any players want to buy your Gold or Silver at the price you set it at.
Knowing what price to put things for sale at is more difficult. You'll either need to keep any eye on the Auctioneer's rates, and/or at what other people are selling things for at Archosaur.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Can you explain to me how the gold auction thing works in game? I'm looking at it and I'm totally confused. I see on the right a box with yellow letters and under it a box with green letters. I suspect these are other player's deals but how do I them to sell my in game coins for their gold? PM me in game if you see me or you can always just respond to this thread! Any help would be appreciatedb:thanksb:thanksb:cold*

It's a... little complicated. The boxes on the right are lists of recent buy and sell orders : they should you want players are trying to set the price of Gold at.
I haven't done this much myself, so other players, feel free to correct any mistakes I make.
First, you want to desposit the number of Coins that you want to bid. That option is on the bottom left. Then, in the box above it, you have to set the Price per unit of gold that you want to bid for, and then the number of Gold that you want to bid for. Your bid will be submitted.
It's only if someone is offering gold at or under that price that your bid will be filled, though, so you have to keep your number around the yellow sell prices to have it filled quickly.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

To start of my post. People buy gold using REAL MONEY, 100 Silver is 1 Gold. 100 zen - 1 gold 1$ - 1 gold
Coins are INGAME money, You can either buy GOLD using coins, the current price for 1 gold is 80k to 100k.
Silver are not In game coins
You can sell Cash shop items to people in a fair amount of price for coins.
EX: Inv. stone can be sold at 200k to 300k coins but they cost 3g in cash shop.
You can also use the Gold auction to sell/buy Gold for coins w/o using cash shop items. They can be found @ the auction NPC0 -

Sorry, still going off my question from above :P. So after you make a bid, and your bid appears at the bottom in green letters how long will it take (assuming you placed ur bid at a fair price) for you to get the gold or cash or whatever the transaction is? Cause I'm afraid to try because of the transaction tax... b:surrender and the high price per gold at my current level. b:shocked But I want to slowly amass some gold for future use INVEST!b:cryb:cold*

It depends on how long before someone puts up a Gold for sale at or below that price. Once they do, it should show up for you pretty quickly.
EDIT: seems to put the gold in your Auctioneer Deposit within five seconds or so. Withdrawal adds a little bit to that. That's with an established Sell bid already existing, though.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
So if I were to SELL some gold, I would need to deposit it into the system, and then what from there? I see the list of people selling gold and the people wanting to buy gold. How do I get the exchange of my gold for their coins going? thanks! It takes a big man to cry, but a bigger man to laugh at him.

Pretty much the same process. First, click the "Sell" box at the very top row, just to the right of the default Buy box.
Deposit the Gold (and/or silver) you want to sell. That option is on the bottom left. Then, in the box above it, you have to set the minimum price per unit of gold that you want to sell for, and then the number of Gold that you want to sell. Your bid will be submitted.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I think that the way PWE is handling the gold/zen aspect of the game is completly fair and every regular player should buy some zen at least once every year in order to support this game.
I have played on games with montly payments and the way it works here is more like a donation than a payment.
I love the whole idea that almost everything can be done without gold! For example in other games besides the montly payment you pay extra for some aditional options like changing stats, character makeover and also for some extra items.
So here you pay with gold only for the extras! The real problem will be if they change the game to make some areas or levels or skills for people that buy gold. So dont cry and buy some gold! Please PWE dont change the way you are doing it!0 -
Necrooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!I was early taught to work as well as play,
My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.0 -

I would if I could. The point is that they dont have any prepaid cards anywhere else but in the USA. Since it's like that, most people cant get gold without a credit card. I personally would never use a credit card online.0 -

May I suggest you to use a prepaid credit card? Allow me to explain! On many countries local banks will allow you to open a bank account and they will allow you to asociate a credit card to it. How it works is like this: is not a real credit card but instead a ATM card however you can use it like a VISA card anywhere where a VISA will be allowed! And the amount of credit will be the amount you have deposited so you never will have a debt. This account dont have to be your main bank account! you can have a secondary one for this porpouses! And if you are a minor they will open the account if you go with a tutor. For deposits they wont care if you are a minor or not!
The good part is: you dont have to keep a lot of money on it. Usually only 10 dollars is required! So when you want to use it just go to your bank and make a deposit. And after that you can use it for buying anything online including zen or amazon. If after your purchase somebody **** your credit card they wont find a real credit card but instead and empty card since you already use it. Also if you ever suspect of the card being **** the bank will give you a new one on any local office. That is what I do! On the country where I live they are called Debit VISA!
There is also a type of prepaid credit card that you buy just like a calling card! You can buy a 20 dollars credit card use it to buy ZEN and the card automatically expire once it was fully used!
Check the link for reference and talk with your local bank:
