Am I the only one who finds it funny that the Jolly Old Jones event is the MOST civil on LC and Harshlands?

We have orderly lines there, and people wait to kill the monster. You know why? Because if they don't, they are mobbed and killed by the ones who did wait in the line. So you carebears **** and moan about KSing all you want, because as this event has clearly shown: if you want something done...


...you gotta do it yourself.

    I find it quite funny too, People on LC waiting in line, however if you KS the line aint no PVE "choose to play in pk mode" :)

    I was imagining a PK fest with pple luring mobs Cenmi-whatever-snakewoman-boss but I guess its not the case? I envy the PvP servers at a time like this because 'tards wont go unpunished.

    We have had orderly lines and organisation here too, people only doing 3 at a time then letting the next person go do it. Yeah there have been some asshats who don't know how to behave in civilised company but you get that anywhere. And yeah probably times when its been out and out ksing but whenever i go past any of the spawns I peek to check and always been nicely ordered.

    I think that it is hilarious! I thought for sure LC would have been one huge PK party, like the roses bushes.....b:chuckle

    But people are actually standing in line (most of the time....)!

    LMAO...I had to take a few screen shots just because the irony of it all is too much.

    It just goes to show that we can all play together...PK zones can move temporarily...and when there is something in it for everyone (the Oracles), some civility can take place...b:victory

    Yes, this event is self policing on PvP servers. I would imagine that over there if a high lvl (90s) tried KSing half the server would respond to the KOS that would go out. Here I have never even heard the term KOS used. Call me a Care Bear but I prefer the more civil atmosphere of PvE... or at least it was until Enrage. Out of curiousity, got any good KOS stories. I bet the PvP servers have a few colorful characters who periodically need to be whipped into shape. Do tell. I love a good story b:chuckle

    I've got one, and it just happened yesterday...

    So in HL, everyone was minding their own business when all of a sudden a get a Guild Notice that reads

    "ALL MEMBERS 30+ REPORT TO ANGLERS VILLAGE IMMEDIATLETY"

    And being myself, I just happened to be there, so went there.

    In the air I saw maybe 50 Eminence nearly all Blood Red.

    And within seconds (No lie) we had about 60 Kingdom members spawn.

    We all took to the sky, but we're **** because we we're unorganized.

    (Of course Eminence was organized due to the fact that they had probably planned this)

    Yet within another 5 minutes we had about another 35~ Kingdom members come in and demolish them, bringing our total to 95~ Ish Members.

    Strangely we we're still being struct down, but then I see a WC that reads

    "Eminence Guild has KS'ed the Pirate Spawn and Cut IN Line, Come to Anglers"

    And then it was over.

    About 20~ Total Crimson members came and the rest of the Eminence we're destroyed.

    It was amazing!

    GJ to Eminence for holding up against 3x amount of people.

    And Kingdom we rock :)

    And ty Crimson.

    Great sight to see.

    Really makes me crave PW even more than I already do.

    That is true because with this even the higher levels are using the oracles too, therefore a PK fest would only hinder and waste there time in getting the exp. There are still those out there you think they are too good for the "lines," but hey it happens and whatever. And I believe there is probably some type of "cease fire" in those areas that have the Oracle bosses.

    In terms of KOS stories.....ROSE BUSHES!! LMAO....that was so funny and a lot of fun! I think I spent a few days there camping out with guildies. Between the AOE's and Jewel being lured in...if was a good fight! Annoying at times, but the things our guys did for us.....b:thanksb:cute

    There are no real consequences on pve servers for being a prick. All we can do is complain, whoopty doo. As said above, pvp servers are orderly out of necessity, no one wants to be on a server-wide KoS list over something stupid like this.

    One of the HUGE disadvantages to being on a pve server....b:sad

    It can be a pain when grinding and then dead from a pk'er...but then again there is excitement in it. And you definitely learn to read the warnings signs! But all-in-all....great fun!
