You could try the lofty pterosaurs around anglers village. Thats a lvl 40 flying metal mob, that gives very good exp, dq items at a good rate and it is sooooooo slow, you can kill it before it can attack you.

Generally, here are a few rules to grinding:

1.) Take monsters around your own level (+/- 2 or so). There's a substantial xp penalty for monsters higher than you, so going for that monster 4+ levels above you won't get you as much as you think. Loot may be good, but XP will bite. Lower monsters are easier, which means faster kills, wich means more kills.

2.) Flying mobs and swimming mobs give more XP than land mobs. If you can find one of them at your level, it's good.

3.) Special conditions on mobs (increased attack, increased defense, etc.) modify xp. Weak lowers it, and sacrificial assault only increases it a little, but the rest give something like a 50% boost. If you can find one that isn't too bad for you (magic res on a magic mob where you'll be doing phys dmg anyway), they're good.

4.) As a cleric, your metal spells will do extra damage against wood mobs, so that's something to look out for.

Your perfect monster would be a flying/swiming wood mob with increased defense of the type you won't be using on it, who is within 2 levels of you either way. Good luck finding one, but any of the above conditions should help you out. Use www.pwdatabase.com/pwi as a good resource for finding monsters.

Wrong! You get more exp for reddish to orange mobs. But if they are more then 4 levels higher then you, your damage will decline.

    Only partially right.
The details of the multiplier are only guesses

    Weak - halved Exp
Increased magic defence - 150% Exp
    Increased defence - 150% Exp
Increased magic Attack - 150% Exp
    Increased Attack - 150% Exp
    Increased Life - 200% Exp
    Scrificial Assault - 200% Exp
Increased Speed - not sure but i think its 150%
