How long did it take you to download the game?

    My computer says it will take 4 hours, it is currently at 20%, says 3h20m left and I think it's been working for about 45 minutes.

    I used the torrent file and left it downloading overnight. According to what my torrent program said before I slept, it might have taken around 2-3 hours. It's good that there were a lot of seeders available.

    About 2 hours on my old connection, but since I kept my copy of it, patching only takes like 2 mins.

    Now, when I downloaded the newer client on the main site, about 20 mins :D

    I had to reinstall it three times...... then I just let it install over night. Im just about done installling game version 1, but I have a feeling I have much more installing to do.......b:sad

    If it took a week and four days for you to download the game, you would probably lag a lot ingame.

    haha. lol i have 2 comps, 1 is crappy and the other is an HP Touchscreen. I downloaded it on my crappy one, put it in my flash drive, and now i play it on my touchscreen. Lol the graphics are awesome!! heres an image of how a Touchscreen looks like for those who don't know(sorry to be bragging, but u would too):

    I've been downloading it for over 2 weeks now and its still at 12% (my laptop is new) and i get at least 18 hours download time each day, though my other downloads are slow this is the all time slowest ever, does any one have any suggestions?

    I just sent for the free PW CD and loaded from the disk .. I then gave it to a friend at work and he gave it to another so this way you can entice your friends into game without those long downloads.
    The Disk arrived within 5 days too so that was pretty good foe me.

    Cesarsama, are you on a dial-up connection? If so, I'd strongly recommend Ordering a DVD.

    If you're on broadband, try one of the official mirrors, such as Gamer's Hell.

    It took me a LONG time. Actually it only took about 3 hours per download, but the first time I d/l from the MY-EN site. And that was crapola. Then I re installed after d/l from the torrent link on PWI site, but I still ended up with the MY-EN version, again. So I d/l from direct d/l link on PWI site, un installed everything PW related and it installed FINALLY with the right version. so, about 20 hours total. =) worth it.

    I'm downloading it right now using uTorrent.

    Last time it took me a good 24-26 hours. That was the direct download.

    This one looks to be about the same. I don't get how people are getting it at less than that.

    Should I try the multiple downloads?

    took me a hour and i got a 3 year old pc i downloaded all 4 packs at the same time but my pc couldn't even play music the hole time. i had to listen to the radio

    Took me a little over an hour on a 6 meg/second connection. Fairly new computer and I made sure I had the memory space first.

    it take dmeh 2:45 (before the virus) and 2:15 (after reinstaling all on the computer)

    All it took me was an hour. it might depend on the type of computer or internet browser.

    Took me an hour also but it took all my friends around a day. I think it was probaly becuase i got fast internet dowload speed plan.

    I don't know why it needs so much time. About 3-4 hours it took me now. And it's not finished yet. But it's on 96% - 2394MB. I needed to restart the downloader about 3 times I think because the download speed sank to 12 Bytes per second.

    I've got a fast connection all the time, so I really don't know why it needs so much time. About 100 KB per second it's usually.

    It took me 36 hours on a DSL connection hitting the direct download site.

    It took my brother less than 2 hours using a mirror on a DSL connection.

    I think it's all due to the network traffic on the PWI servers.

    Also, since updates are all on the PWI servers as well, with so many people online and either playing or downloading updates, you can expect it to be slow. Basically, the crappy download times are due more to lack of bandwidth on the server side, not on the "user" side.

    At least, this is MY guess... ;)

    Does anyone know if the DVDs with the client come with the last version, last patch or some old versions they still have in store where you still have to download patches for hours on end?

    Also is it right that LS is the only PvP server (lvl 30+?)
