question on my build

ive been spreading my stats to the specefications i think MAKE a tank.im just trying to see how im doing so far

heres my stat lay-out

20 vit, 159 str(in the 150's), 22 dex, 5 mag


now i know im gonna get told my build sucks or w/e by someone out there. but this is for all you mature high lvl players.got any advice?

im topping 2223 hp,2.1k+ defense, and like 650-1k dmg or somwhere round there

    I'm not all that high lvl, but to give you a quick answer: I think you put to much in str, at the expense of vit. This might give you some trouble on mag mobs that will become more frequent after lvl40.
    Try keep your str and dex at the requirements of your weapon, and put the rest into vit. That's how I distribute my stats. Roughly you'll be around 6 str, 3vit, 1dex every 2lvl.
    So at lvl37 that should give: vit=59, str=113, dex=23 and mag=5. If you want to tank, I suggest you get your vit up. Either only spend points on vit (and some dex) for a while (this should make you get to the stated build by the time you reach +/- lvl50), or get a restat scroll.

    way to make the also experianced low lvls feel better....b:cold *sigh* what ever...
    well yeah... idc anyways... basically what Tawarwaith said....here is my stats so far...
    105 str
    53 vit
    32 dex
    5 magic
    and i did what Tawarwaith said but tweaked it to my style of fighting
    probably one of the smartest in perfect world
    yet the lowest of level

    in human or true form b/c inhuman form i have 2900 hp and i only put enough str and dex for dual axe's



    edit: just hit 40 over 3k hp now in human form

    i hav 90's Vit
    177 Str 12 mag 33 Dex

    i tke 1 dex every other level to meet weapon req for axes
    and for the off levl w/o dex i do 3str and 2 vit

    so its like 2 str 2 vit 1 dex
    then 3 str 2 vit b:pleasedb:laugh

    Do you miss much with such low dex? I have just started a barb (level 13) and i seem to miss a lot more with him than i do with my Archer.

    thats b/c a archers main stat is dex which effects ur acc barb only uses enough dex to use his next weapon or armor so yes they will miss more

    In terms of accuracy, archers and barbs are each on the opposite end of the scale. If an archer would miss as much as a barb, that wouldn't be fair anyway because they can't take as many hits as barbs.

    Barbs have the lowest accuracy of the game. But, at least for a tank build, you aren't meant to deal damage, so it isn't a problem (even if frustrating some times b:surrender). I always look for weapons with accuracy bonus and imbue accuracy gems. That helps, but every now and then you'll still a serie of misses in a row.

    Archers are meant to deal as much damage as possible before the mob reaches him. It would be crual to have them miss 10 times in a row b:victory (happend once with my barb. Really bad luck)

    Ok im so fudging confused on which build is the most accurate! I keep geting different ones from so many different people! Which build is the best for a tank barb demon? I want to have good attack dmg and good defence with good amount oh hp! Which one would it be? Please help me..I've trying so many different kinds and they all seem to suck in the end please help!

    I always advise barbs go 3 str every lv, no exception. You need the damage to help hold aggro.

    Dex should be AT MOST one per lv, and then capped at 60 or 80. I actually suggest stopping at about 52-55, and let your gear bonuses fill the extra points. If your gear dosen't, then go the extra points (FYI, the TT80 bracers carry a nice amount of dex with them). You solve your accuracy problems with rings that give +50 accuracy. Get two, and you double your accuracy. You'll never hit as often as the other classes, but you'll hit enough.

    The rest of your points, of course, go to vit. Socket armor with HP gems only, weapon with physical damage only. Again, more damage helps hold aggro. Plus things die faster.

    Just my opinion. I know a lot disagree. But then, I disagree with the whole claw movement, so we're even. :)
