PvP(/TW) Cleric build - where to put my stat points?

ok, so I'm searching for a cleric build that would perform well in PvP, especially TWs, but I'm kinda lost now.

I've read different stat builds here on the cleric board and from there I have picked the two builds that seem best to me for what I want, but I'm not really sure which one would be best, so I'd like some help and suggestions.

the first one, from the clerics for newcomers sticky, puts the stats this way:
every 2 levels - 6 mag, 3 vit, 1 str

the other one, being based on the barebones cleric guide, would put them:
every 2 levels - 6 mag, 2 vit, 2 str

So which one would be best? Or does that 1 point vit/str matter very little for what I want?

Also, if you have any suggestions for a better build I'd love to hear them, if you do so, then please take note that I am a quite patient gamer (meaning I don't really mind slow lvling and such too much) and that I'm not afraid of a good challenge ;)

    "6 mag, 2 vit, 2 str" - what's the point? you only need 1 str every 2 levels to wield the armors and weapons(excluding the pataka, you don't need it) to your level.

    your best choice is based on how fast you would prefer to kill:

    9 mag, 0 vit, 1 str.
    8 mag, 1 vit, 1 str.
    7 mag, 2 vit, 1 str.
    6 mag, 3 vit, 1 str.

    the hybrid build is not set in stone, you can be getting 6 mag every level 1 day and switch to 9 the next. it doesn't matter. the more vit, the harder you are to kill(and vit gives a small bonus(very small) to your physical and elemental defense), but less damage. higher mag makes you hit like a frate train, but you'll die in 2 shots(that's why you have plume shell, -80% physical damage for 20 seconds).

    I would say that Light Amor is the best for PvP/TW - of course now everyone will start flaming again...Well LA Clerics are not so common the only dissadvantage is the low hp that can easiy be solved with hp gems, also LA Clerics have much hghter criticals, some say that with the criticals they surpass pure mag builds on later lvls.

    LA build: 1 str, 1 dex, 3 mag each lvl.

    By lv70, get 80-100vit, min str for equips, rest into mag. Your shooting for around 3k hp or more by this level.

    i like my full mage cleric due to his power.I can take on mobs 10 lvls above him.Cleric at 70+ are beast at gathering multiple magic/poison mobs and taking them all out...why zhen when you can do that.

    The otehr night i noticed Blessing from radiance rounding up a massive amount of spiders up north in avalanche and it was quite impressive to see how that was done and done solo..yeah she/he may be 90-99lvl but thats what to look forward to when u become a high cleric with some good ****!Way to go blessing!

    yes by 70 people should be close to 3k hp if their gear is correct.My cleric is 59 and has 1500 or so in hp with some gear providing the extra vit..other than that my armor/weapons and stuff dont have a single shard in them due to me lvling and dumping armor with a quickness i tend notto shard anything for now.I rather work for my tt 70 items and shard those.

    full mag has 3k hp by 70? improbable. the amount of refines and gems on your armor required would be outrageous. i'm 76 with 2,300 hp.

    I'm LA Cleric and have 1915 hp at my 55 with cheap 2 star items that have high hp and element resistance bonuses.

    Pure int for levelling
    that means 5 Vit, and everything else goes into Int
    Keep a HP heiro in case, just ironheart before u attack and u will never trigger it unless 2-3 attack u

    You can do this until even 90.. At bflies, undines, fish, full int will get u levels fast (and you can still do cube)

    Here are the ONLY two PvP builds:
    Light armour (3 mag 1 str 1 dex)
    Full Vit (3 mag 2 vit)

    Full vit is better for survivability in TW... you really need it
    LA is better for the criticals, and you can get more HP when you refine ur gear high (LA refined gives more HP than robe refined)

    Both builds will allow you to kill EP, EA, WF, and mages... WR and WBs you will never kill either way even if ur full int (WR u can kill if u have anti-stun pots with either build though) provided they are heiroed

    If your looking into being able to survive some madness I say skip the LA, one of the major factors in a clerics power is they're ability to deal impressive damage while being able to heal. Light armor will take away from attack power, in effect also lowering the effectiveness of your healing power. Weaker healing means you need to stop fighting back to keep yourself alive more often.

    Put some points into vit, but from what I've found your better off using phys def shards instead of hp shards. The phys def buff is based on your armor, this includes shards. The more shards the higher the bonus. Even with only 1500hp I can easily solo chi'in at lvl 62, I can hang tough and get beat on until the tank can come back and save me. I have yet to have another player my level beat me.

    No tricks, no system. I stand there and blast away while the BM's, Barb's and Archers attack me. Archers do take a little more effort, I do have to keep ironheart on for them. I have well over 1700 in phys def, I'm a very hard Cleric to kill. We wont even mention other casters, I kill veno's before they're pets get to me. (I still sleep chickens though)

    I have been putting points into vit lately just as a back up, but when you can keep a TT boss busy while the team recovers from an accident you know your tough. (solo mode)

    6 mag, 3 vit, 1 str is the Vit build. You will need the Str for Arcane robes. Be sure to load them up with HP shards. It will make you very hard to will. LA build will give you more Phys def and you will need to load up on HP shards as well. Hope that helps.
