New Auto-Pathing

When you do the auto-pathing feature, it makes you go in a straight line. This isn't a problem for elves or people with aerocrafts, but those who are forced to walk get stuck behind cliffs or trees are forced to move, re-path, and repeat the process. There needs to be a feature that instead of making one straight line to the place that you want to go, you should be able to make a path with turns so as to be able to get around obstacles.

Player housing would be nice too.

The auto-pathing feature will never be more than a straight line. Its pretty much only for the aerocrafts(or short distances) and not mounts/walking unless you have a death wish. You want path finding; that can cut around collision with objects etc..(some games have this;will not compare) I doubt their programmers will go through the trouble implementing that since the existing collision glitches are enough to deal with. You can always be hopeful though...or try to have patience until level 30; its relatively easy regardless of class.

I have seen this in some game for the pc but never for an online game. basicly you can pick like 4-5 waypoints that you can run to an when you get to that point you head to the next. so you could arrange them so to go around some things but never be sure that you would be safe from attack.

I would like to see an imput box so that you could but in a cord directly into the auto-path feature..that way would be fast an easy. That way you can use the cords you already get in quests to go places with auto-path or use the current way for just general travel. ;)

An auto-pathing feature is not as difficult as you may think to code. Quite simple actually. I would like to see an auto-pathing also. Just because the game lets you fly around anywhere doesnt mean that youll want to all the time.

I used to play a mmorpg that had awsome autopathing. Being able to go around obsticals would be awsome insted of trying to go through them. >_<

Ether Saga has the auto-pathing that lets you automatically go around objects, up stairs, etc as you go. It was made by the same devs who made Perfect World.
    Main characters
Celestial Sage Venomancer Zoe - 100
    Sage Barbarian Malego - 91
