usual cleric problems

yes alot of people said this before and I'm pretty sure this is the wrong place to open the topic but I just wanted to let it out.

1-ok we clerics don't have to revive you , don't start cussing and getting pissed off at us just cause we didn't rez.

2-guess what? WE DIE TOO!!! don't think just cause we are clerics we won't die.

3-ok seriously I was in this fb or whatever all the team went rushing in and attacking different mobs which most got killed in 1 hit I'm trying to heal the main tank , go rez the dead ones and run away from the mobs that's attacking me cause the ones who rushed died (and which those mobs will probably 1-2 hit ko me) and everyone is also out of range of my spells so WHY THE HELL EVERYONE BLAMES THE CLERIC

4-is it too hard to type even "ty" after you got a rez

5-ok if your gonna ask for a revive ask nicely don't go like "REZ HERE" , "REZ ME!", "WHY AREN'T YOU REZZING ME!!!"

6-ok I was in this other fb after beating the boss the tank went "It barely even hurts me anymore" one , I gave you buff so that your defence got better ,two I healed you all the time otherwise you would be dead. JEEZ god always ignoring what we do

7-in fb or tt the tanks always rush in using their tiger form or that blue light speed thing for bm's and they go fight while we slow clerics try to catch upto them , then they die and we are still not there and they blame us for not doing our job

8-I'm in friggin tusk town and your in misfortune so why do you call me there just for rez

9-I went to this fb with a squad which I can solo with 1 bm alone , they were doing pretty badly then they said we need a better cleric. WHY THE HECK it was like that cause of you weren't good don't try and blame it on me.

there is probably alot more but I'll just stop here

It sounds to me like you've gotten some sucky groups. Any tank who grabs mass aggro and can't take it, or who rushes in past their clerical support, simply doesn't know what he or she is doing.

lolz i must confess number 7 is my fault, however I never bash the cleric at all. I know they are doing their best because there's no mass revive skill for clerics to use. Plus even though bms are not tanks, i still like being a part of the action and most barbs hate that...especially egotistical ones. I remember getting hate from this one tank called Goliath-something and he was mad because i joined in the fight with the boss in fb51. It's not like i stole any aggro from b:victory

In any TT I do, I ask the clerics if they have a speed pill, and if they don't, I'll give them one when we run past certain parts. I've heard complaints from many clerics that they run so slow, that it's embedded in my mind.

I want to tell you thank you from all clerics. I so greatly appreciate players that take other players characteristics into account. There have been so many times I've been left behind or gotten separated from the group because everyone rushes ahead.

Speed pill... huh. I make the things and give them to my blade hubby. Just learned something again. From now on I'll be keeping a few of those babies for myself.

One more time... THANK YOU for your consideration.

Oh and as for the topic of this... yeah baby you are right on!!! Every point.

I reserve the right to complain about SOME clerics when they run over my dead corpse and dont rez me, even after asking (yes I always say plz and ty, its no effort and polite) in general AND whisper! And also one cleric, after ignoring me for a good 10 minutes then wanted 2 MP potions just to buff me! I told him I'd do without and promptly pwned.

But, on a lighter note, thanks go to the good clerics, thank gods there are more than the bad, that rez, heal random people and buff some folk as they walk past. And all of those that keep us alive in FBs, TTs and just in general! HEALBOTS I SALUTE YOU! b:victory

The old me was non support, really I had out comes with people where i help and drain charm "not even a ty" or I get blamed or people dying.

today, I killed Dismal shade 3 times, gouf 1 time, khewy 2 times and helped random people basically all day,

Then I got comments " I wish I invited you to my FB " and they showed grattitude which is the best reward of all.
Now I got level 10 rez yes omg I maxed out my rez omgomgomg!

So basically, some people are arses and some people are nice, don't have time for the ones that arent nice

Too true. Best thing you can do imho is try and remember the arses, that way when they ask you for something next time, you can say HAHAHAHAHAHA no!

I can assure you that there are alot of cases of this out there. I have reached a point to let everyone in an fb party know that I will be healing the tank only and that if they want to die go for it. Especially groups that tend to have "overly anxious" lower levels.

And THANK YOU for shouting out about people getting out of our range! That is one of the hardest things to deal with.....ie>>Jewel! When you have a tank that knows to wait for you then its all good. Otherwise, its there bad. They can blame us clerics all they want, but it is never gonna change the fact that they are NOT invincible (even though many think they are)!

And in terms of res....well.....I think that what people don't realize is that we are SAVING them exp! We are the losers in this because we are lucky if someone is there to help save us some!

LOL....loved the rant and I believe you have a lot of the same feelings as many of us!! b:victory

I say if you feel like rez whoever die is your choice.
anyone give you attitude they can sit there for hours hope next cleric will deal with him/her.
you spend your time on game use you coin and spirit to gain this skill.
you gain all your lvl and grind the time for your character.

for those 4zz that think they are the ****, go pay for your own angel.
otherwise show people some respect and be polite.

Point 2 can be really rough sometimes. I always try to keep Clerics alive even when I am not in their party because I know they are NOT tanks but often get pulled into that role by incompetent team mates...It is really rough when the Cleric dies because who is going to Res them?

There is one thing however I would add for a Good Cleric which is when someone tells you "I can handle myself do not worry about me" do as told. If they die that is their problem. I have had Clerics all but get themselves and other team mates killed trying to heal me when I did not need their help and told them as much.

One more point for people partying with a Cleric...Do not leave monsters out there for your Cleric to back into. I have seen this again and again. Keep your Cleric alive if you leave traps for them to walk into while they try to heal you and stay away from the Boss you will regret it.

True...

Very true...although I did have one person say this to me before then get mad that they died..lol...I told them to re-read there chat. Oh well...you say don't heal me and I won't!
