Problem with new update

1. my eagle and blue manta both are beating their wings much harder than before, at a distratcingly fast rate.

2. the graphics are totally strange! all smeared straight lines, blocks and such

this one shows how screwed up the graphics are, even before opening the game!

apparently, the only way possible to have it look seminormal is to use the Best Performance button...in other words, running the game on its lowest possible graphics setting, without all the things that have made it so beautiful.

    i am also experiencing this problem, are you using windows vista? im currently using vista and i think its related to vista because my friend(whos running XP) doesnt have any problems.

    would be great if any GMs can help us out.

    Edit: i have tried reinstalling game and restarting computer, none of the two works.

    Same here. I'm using Vista and my stingray is flapping extra hard. OO Some of my faction mates are experiencing the same thing, but not sure of their OS.

    no, just the normal WinXP that ive used for years, that has done fine...till now.

    i think everyone's wings are beating in a faster rate. to me, only the graphics matters. A LOT.

    yes the graphics are moving so fast now. with the bird mount. even the normal mounts, or might be i am sick from flying now. :(

    i Too am having the same prblem.. lets keep bumping until a GM notices this..

    So anyone came up with anything on this subject yet... i'm not leaving untill this isssue gets addressed.

    I found something out.. for some reasson the new patch has affected theTerrain part only.. every thing else looks the same . I put my terrain setting on low and it looks "normalish". but as for the rappid flapping and swimming..well.. i dont know.. WE STILL NEED ANSWERS.. (i know i'm annoying)

    when in game, go to the graphic options , (system / system settings)

    on the first page = try check / uncheck V-Sync option.
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    I did what u said i went to the ghaphics options setting and checked/unchecked V-Sync option... STILL HAS NO EFFECT... So BUMP! (problem not resolved)

    You have to turn the "terrain" option to minimum. The terrain won't look as good but at least there won't be the lines.

    This needs to be fixed though. -_-

    Unexpected stuff happens when u have no time for propper bug checks.
    I bet that devs/GMs are working on it now so keep up the good mood and hope for prolonged events ^^

    EDIT: Its only 9 AM in the US so go do some homework / work / study and when ur done itll all be fine again

    Now, we are looking into the rapid flapping thing. I'll let you know once we have something to announce about it, but in the meantime constantly bumping this thread isn't going to help anything, except maybe your chances of having your posting privileges revoked.

    good to see you are on top of it surtr

    I have a completely different bug in addition to flapping.

    In Auction several Oracle II items appeares, they all have bidding set to 5k coins.
    When I bid i get the bid as normal, however I can overbid myself without a warning pops up.
    They also mysteriously disappeares afterwards from my bid list and i get error with cash returing to my mailbox.

    I guess its not ppl putting these magical items here ^^

    PS! Will I ruin my game by bidding on these?

    The "error" message is simply that you were outbid. You won't **** up your game.

    its more than just the flapping glitch...its that scenery graphics are shot to blazes, unless you have your settings down to the very lowest possible. and, please note the shot of my cleric in the character list- it is visible even when the game itself is not being played.

    please note that with the graphics turned down like this, that the ground is even darker than before.

    Please know that we are bugging the devs like crazy, and we'll see how things go.

    Please be patient, please use the workarounds suggested while PWE/PWBJ works to resolve the issues.

    yeah the new thing won't let the game come up and it was working perfectly until the update came i fixed it temporarily but now it won't bring up the game when i hit start a black screen comes up then it goes to a icon on bottom of screen how do i fix it i've tried everything?
