Weak Archer

Hey guys.... b:bye

ive been playing for a while now, and im a lvl 46 archer. I heard all this about archers being a high damage dealer, like mage, but when im squading with my friends, i feel like b:sad really weak... 1. i die fast b:shocked but thats coz my hp is low 2. my hits are never that high as there are supposed to be. Is there a level at which archer get better at dmg dealing, or did i just make my archers attribute points go crappy b:cry

    ornamented bow, the one you buy at the blacksmith.

    str: 48
    dex:131

    My max hit with my best skill is jus 3.5 k
    while normal arrows range form 500 to 1015 maybe (crit. hit)

    well for one thing, you shouldn't have any points in magic. and a pure archer build (which yields the most damage) is 1 str 4 dex per level, meaning no vitality either. Those two things alone are causing your biggest issues in damage. If you took all those points and added them to dex, not only would crit rate already be higher, but your base damage would go way up too.

    Buy a reset scroll or two, and reset all the Magic and Vitality down to 3~

    I find being an "increased life" archer helpful in some situations. Leave the vit as it is, you won't have to level it for a while. Buy a restat scroll for the magic, though, and add all that to dex.

    Or use HP shards and refine your equipment. Possibly even better than stuffing tonnes of VIT into your build.

    anybody know the (reasonable) price of a reset scroll for 5 att points ?

    hmm so what you are saying is that you dont like your low dmg you deal?


    just lvl up im an Archer lvl 60 and i do great dmg now

    Yea, i really dont like the dmg im dealing right now... tried to change my att points mit a reset scroll. looks like this now

    vit 33
    mag 35
    str 50
    dex 143

    does upgrading skills play a big role? guess so... or?

    u need only to reset magic...u need some point in hp if u dont wanna get all time 1 hit by other class!!! and the dmg for low lvl EA is low u will do more when u get a better wep whit + aswell...u also need to max your all skills till your lvl if u wanna do good dmg...ENJOY!!!

    i'm lvl 47 so i can give u an estimate of where i am

    8 Vit
    5 Mag
    51 Str
    204 Dex

    this is including stats given from equips

    my range is 1142-1902. (Not sure if the range u gave is the one u see when u press "c" or wat u see when atking monsters.)

    my equips r ok not rly godly, i have the lvl 45 bow of goddess that u get from a swiftland quest.

    so far my highest damage with critical is 5774



    Lvling skills helps a lot. Make sure ur lvling the right ones so u don't misplace SP
