Sufficient gratitude

Whenever a local cleric randomly enchants me or helps me reincarnate, I give the healer 5 MP potions. As an archer, I always have an excess of these potions, and the ones I give are usually 1 grade lower than the ones I can use (so if I'm level 70, I give level 60 MP potions). The exception is when a low level cleric decides to enchant me, in which case I give a few thousand coins as recompense.

Do you (healers) believe this is a sufficient expression of gratitude? If not, what would you prefer? If coins, how much? (I'm on the Heaven's Tear server, where Guardian Angels go for 30-40k.)

****, I just realized that I never did this for random heals... *sigh* my thoughtlessness gets the best of me again.

    Wow...you are very nice.

I can honestly say that this has never (or has yet) to happen to me.

You are very generous....On that note, I personally do not expect anything from anyone for a random heal, etc. It is what we do....b:cute

If you do feel the need or want to give something to someone, then by all means do what you deem to be fair. It is like a tip at a restaurant, you give what you feel is adequate for the service(s) you have received.

But I think that your are being very kind in your generosity!

    im obviously not a cleric

but what you are doing is soo much more then anyone i know of in this game

don't let it bug you that you have forgotten a cleric here or there

i think the bigger concern is paying them when they come to help for an fb or any of the other situations where they are needed

but seriously, your are awesome and very generous, i shall follow in your path and also take on your way of supporting our fellow clerics b:laugh

Just a please and a thank you is all I would care about =P
But if you really wanted to "Focus powder" is a great reward for the level 4x clerics since their mana regen is horrible

I really do have a strange desire to hunt you down and just give you heals for being so damn nice!

Really, I've never expected anything but a thankyou when ressing someone. To be given a couple of mp pots is more than a wonderful thankyou considering how low we always are on them. Its the little things that show appreciation that really make the difference, while 5 mp pots is very little coin wise, it is just a really nice gesture.

Its people like you who make this game a much better place to play. Even though I may not have directly benefited I'll say thanks anyway for your attitude towards the other people playing this game.

Purely awesome, I heal/buff/res just to be nice and never expect anything in return. I thank your for being so generous, people like you are the reason I still help out when I'm just passing by.

You should get a medal or something, seriously.

There's no need to be amazed by this. Generosity and courtesy should always be rewarded.

Elenacostel - there aren't many people like you :-) I am satisfied by getting just "tyvm" when reviving someone :-)

One guy actually paid me though - we had to argue for a bit - but then I accepted the trade for 15.000 coins for reviving because he had no mp pots (because I tried not to take the money) - but I met only 1 like that until now and he said he always pays, just less if it's not a lvl10 reviving

As nice as it is from you to give us some gifts in return - it might just happen I won't accept it :-) it's a skill and I have it for free - can't really charge for it :-)
Accepting money is not an option for me, but if more people thought like you to give us mp pots or soothing orbs, I would like that idea - but as I met only 1 unknow person so far trying to give me something, I doubt there is a high chance to start meeting more.
But faction people give me things - soothing orbs, herbs,... but that is a bit different as for faction you just go that extra mile to help eachother and we allways distribute items to whoever needs something at the moment

Very very nice of you to even think about us and the time we spend to help other unknown people and trying to compensate for that - people like you are more rare than mold drops in fb :-)

You need to come to my server so I can give you lots of hugs. :D
It's terribly nice of you to be so considerate. Most people are quite rude when it comes to resurection, blatantly screaming across my chat window commanding me to res them. : (

It's nice to see someone so nice. *huggles*

I've been the recipient of random heals before and it's a really nice gesture. Once I was resurrected, but the place was crawling with PC's and mobs so I didn't even know who helped me! I ended up just resorting to a global "thank you".

Anyway, if the cleric uses their mana to help you, it makes sense to say thanks with some mana potions (if you've got any....I'm a heavy user....)

Wow. Just wow. I heal so many, buff so many, and when I die no one seems to be about. I think people like you should be fruitful and mulitiply heh. I give other clerics what I can give for their level, to share mana is a wonderful thing but what you do is above and beyond the pale. -Smiles and wishes there were more of you- And aye, a thankyou is all I really need.
