what is the best AoE skill for a barb to get that is most usefull

    They say Slam is useful for a Barb... but barbs are not that good in AOE i hear,that where an axe BM shines... if u want to AOE roll a BM. but for aOE skill as a Barb they say Slam is useful..Idk go figure.

    any AoE is usufull to at least speed up killing when being teamed on

    imo the best aoe should be sunder because it makes you regenerate hp. Unfortunately, I don't have it yet.
    From those I do have the best aoe is slam, for the simple reason that it's an aoe 360 degrees around you. But to be honest, I only have lvl1 and only use it if I solo fb19.

    Well amongst the humanoid AoEs (Swell,Firestorm and Slam), slam is without a doubt the best (360 degree damage + knockback). The higher level AoE Perdition is excellent for mass PvP, but imho sux at PvE.

    I love the tiger form AoEs, they much more useful.
    Talk is Cheap (Roar) is the oldest one and great to build chi and help aggro.
    Frighten again good chi builder and useful to slowdown and reduce damage.
    Surf Impact, invaluable against running ranged mobs (50% speed reduction) but not so great as a damage tool.
    Sunder the best of all our AoEs, Imho. Best for PvE, not really a damage tool (though the damage is good) but the heals is awesome.

    Basically any AoE that deals base damage to all involved is useful to have at least at lvl1 to spread the damage a little. You wont have enough SP initially (and enough coins later on) to upgrade all of them until much later maybe 90+?

    Also, barbs AoEs have one major drawback and that is cooldown times, which are too long for you to use AoEing as an effective grinding tool. BM is much better at that.

    Slam is very good aoe skill for PvE and sometimes in PvP

    Also Perdition is too good for PvP

    Yea, Armageddon (Perdition) is mainly the best for PvP, but Slam and Swell (Billow) are the best for something like soloing FB19 or low level mobs. Also, Hi Esky b:victory :P

    That skill is mainly for aggro or stop channeling spell around you.
