Yea hi,i been looking for a guide to making your own video of on screen action but can't find one. Anyone know of a good guide to PWI Video?

    I use Fraps http://www.fraps.com/ to record, and virtualdub http://www.virtualdub.org/ to edit.

    To use FRAPS without any restrictions, you have to pay for it, but it's worth it, and you get all updates for free.

    If you use it without buying it, then the video length is limited to 30 second clips and there is a "water mark" at the top of all video/screenshots.

    Virtual Dub is completely free, yes.
    You can buy FRAPS if you want to have unlimited recording length and no advertising, but you can download a free version which gives you a 30-second limit when recording (although you can start a new recording instantly) and the free version always embeds a small www.fraps.com text on the top of the video.


    EDIT: OMG was a bit faster, lol
