Mounts speed spurred and unspurred

Hey all this is probably my 2nd or 3rd post, I've forgotten...but i have a question. I'm thinking of getting a mount, obviously the fastest is best. But I would like to know the speed of the land mounts (since they are faster) and how fast they can go.
Now I heard panther is the cheapest but i saw on Boutique that the max it goes is 9m/s, however someone told me you can train it to run 10m/s?? Now i am not exactly sure on this but when i visited the pet manager, i clicked on "upgrades."
It was here i saw all the pets (and even some i have never seen ridden) with upgraded speeds all up to 10m/s. So my question is this, if you spur a panther and it goes to 9m/s (the max speed according to Boutique) why is there a black panther upgrade to 10m/s in pet manager?
Can you actually train it the more you ride it to reach the maximum speed of all pets not counting the Hell Hound? Are spurs and upgrades 2 different things? I am very confused so I would love some advice on this. Because i do not have much funds, if i cant get the same end result speed of a raptor with a black panther, then is the high prices simply just for the mount type, for appearances only? Because if so, i would much rather prefer buying a black panther for its reasonable price than having to fork over millions just for the looks.
Also if possible, may someone please post all the land mounts in the game with their starting speed and maxed out speed after upgrades/spurs? hank you so much!!!!!

Well, no matter the starting speed of the land mount, they can all reach 11.0 speed in the end by using spurs.Main characters
Celestial Sage Venomancer Zoe - 100
Sage Barbarian Malego - 910 -
oh so then the boutique (max speed = 9.0) doesn't mean anything? This is great news, ty very much!! Just one last question i forgot to ask, do you ride it more to make it faster or do you HAVE to use spurs or uprgades first, before it can be trained to be faster??~~Romanian Princess~~0

Both.
I'll use the panther as an example. When you buy it from the cash shop it has a listed speed of 8.0 and max of 9.0. When you get it, it has 8.0 however by simply riding it, it will overtime, level up. It gets .1 more speed each level, maxing out at level 11 with a speed of 9.0
Using the first spurs, will return it to level 0, however its base speed will now be 9.0 and its max will be 10.0. Now you can make it level 11 again if you want and get the 10.0 speed.
After that you can use the next spurs to make its base speed 10.0 and max 11.0. Make it level 11 and you have a mount that can't get any faster. This applies to most mounts. Some start at 10.0 base already like Hellhound.
You can totally ignore levels if you want and simply spur its base speed upto 10 right away though.Main characters

ahh ok so then technically I need to buy spurs then. Must i level it to 11 each time before I use a spur again? Or could i simply buy 2 spurs and use them both immediately after the other and then finally train it on my own, because if i could, i could save myself some time from training it constantly and reseting it twice~~Romanian Princess~~0

My guess is it would. Most likely you'll have to revert the mount back to an egg to spurr it so it would lower the loyalty back down to 0.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Thank you Zoe. I was wondering if you could spurr a level 11 mount or if it had to be level 1.
thanks again.0 -
