    No worries, I'm a boy too b:victory
Venos are good because they are the best solo class and money makers in the game.
There are plenty of guides in the forums for building your veno, but this is the most commonly used build. Every two levels put 1 str and 9 magic.

Definitely good for being able to play it solo. Other classes you can play solo but you'll end up either using a ton of potions or wearing charms all the time. Venomancers are easily able to solo without touching charms. Thus they make the cheapest in terms of real money to play if you avoid the battle pets. However, if you ever need them, charms will be easily afforded by your venomancer from player shops.

At level 78, I can take a magmite through TT 2-1 solo and farm it for drops. I think most I've made so far was selling a pair of Forshura's Armor mats for 500K (minus 60K each for two subs).

Venos are great classes. It doesn't matter if you're a guy or a girl - this is a GAME. Since you're looking at your character 100% of the time, some guys might prefer to view a female character...

On an aside, after a long period with my veno, I've just switched back to playing my original blademaster. Harder, but fun to return to slicing and dicing!

I am a guy myself dont get caught up on the gender bending thing.

I would just recommend you act like a guy and dont lie to people about being a girl. You will have to get used to getting hit on by guys left and right. Just nip that in the bud by telling them your a guy.

Outside of the constant proposition from other guys ... b:laugh

This is a very fun class.

I have a personal rule where I never play opposite sex toons in mmo's. However, I play summoner classes in ALL mmo's I play. Therefore, I got over that stigma for this game. I am comfortable enough in my masculinity to not feel weird about playing a female veno.

Once you get into the mechanics and gameplay of playing a veno all those things start to fade away anyway.. and it just comes down to skill level.

I think you will find a LARGE population of males playing venos in this game.. largely do to the fact there is no option to play male veno and its a really solid class.

So.. if you can get over the idea of playing a veno as a guy... I recommend it.. its a fun class.

honestly it's all a matter of opinion why or why you don't like a veno.

I personally love them, as has been stated, we can solo better then anyone in the game. . because of our side kick : )

we have a good arrangement of moves, soul transfusion makes grinding sooooo much easier

though we have a pet(aka:side kick) and well we need it, so there is the part of taking care of it and making sure you keep it loyal with foods and such

so in the end, it's your choice

Veno is the best solo class... Lvled the fastest among all the other 6 classes...
As for points into attributes, you can refer to one of the guide in the sticky thread in this section. I followed it though. Including the skills etc...

I chose Arcane Robe as armor, and hence my points most goes to Mag, where the minimum (for weapon usage) goes to Str...

im not totally in accordance with the responses.

Venos do lvl really fast till lv 60 or so.

Afterwads other classes do go faster with Zhen parties.; Venos are rarely invited into them. (You will only be invited for luring in FBs and TTs )

And so you continue solo.. and soloing levels after lv 70 is a little long.

You make more money .. yeah .. but not that much .. since you have a tanking pet.. you rarely need to repair you armour.

Considering Urban legends= Selling rare pets wont make you rich, selling baby pets wont make you rich, Farming TTs wont make you rich ( there are too many venos doing that already ) .....

But you will be able to solo some bosses others classes cant solo .

And if you decide to get the battle pets, Hercules will permits you to solo most of the bosses
I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.
