Is Zen the same as gold??

    No, gold is something from boutique which is way more than zen

    100zen=1 gold , if im not mistaken.
    Also, 100k IN GAME GOLD = 1 BOUTIQUE GOLD
    To use ingame gold to buy boutique gold, go to the auctioneer.

    You purchase zen from their cash shop. One penny gives you one zen. Or, one dollar gives you 100 zen. Zen gets associated with your account and is not associated with any specific server.

    When you transfer zen to a server, your zen becomes gold. One hundred zen turns into one gold which all of your characters on one server will be able to use. (So one gold is one dollar.) You also transfer zen to gold using their cash shop.

    When you start perfect world, somewhere in the middle of your launcher you should see a "Charge your zen" button. If you click this button you will launch IE and will be visiting their cash shop.

    Or you can buy gold from other players using in-game coins (visit an auctioneer and I think this will be your third option). Also you can read lots of help texts about buy in auctions from your first auctioneer option.

    I was wrong earlier: when you have gold (and/or silver), any of your characters on that one server can use your gold (or silver).

    (and 100 silver = 1 gold)

    I have edited my post so I do not confuse too many people about this.
