AeroBeast Help?

I feel really stupid for asking this because I'm probably missing something really small, but then again if I don't know something I won't learn if I don't ask. lol

I'm now lvl 30. A Venomancer. I talked to the Elder in Archosaur who told me to go talk to the Lost City Recluse, who would teach me how to fly. So I did. The Lost City Recluse wanted 5 Dull Claws. So I went and got them for him. Gave them to him. He gives me an AeroBeast and that's that. He didn't tell me anything useful. D:

I now have *2* AeroBeasts (I bought one from the Boutique the other day) and neither one....does anything.

I can equip them both but nothing happens. None of the NPC's are telling me anything that I have to do and my search through the Perfect World forums has turned up nothing that can help me solve this dilemma.

I'm not sure what I'm missing and any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you in advance. <3

Oh, and does anyone know how to set up one of those "cat shops"? I can't seem to figure that out either. ^_^;

((And yes, I'm a girl. Everyone seems to think I'm some perverted guy playing as a girl because my characters name is Talbot...I think it's a cute girl name. ;_; And I'm 100% female! :( ))

    you need to equip it, than press E. one of the icon is the FLY button. there. once u press it, u are riding ur fly mount. b:victory

    Yes you need to press fly to fly. I have it set on one of my hot keys.

    Whilst I'm sure Ripokeke is well aware of the differences between aerobeasts and mounts, a lot of the new folks aren't, so I'll clarify.

    Aerobeasts aren't mounts. They are untamed aerocraft that let you fly once you over lvl30. Mounts are available through cash shop only and they let you run faster over land only (no flying/swimming). You cant be thrown off aerocraft, but you can be dismounted from a mount if you get hit while running.

    This is the only one I would say Venos or Barbs need nothing faster.
