Well this old game i used to play, silkroad, had something called unions, which was basically just a group of guilds(factions) in an alliance. They could have their own chat room for both union and guild only. If one guild had a problem with another one, the union could choose to help them in a war, and it would basically mean having one big merged guild with 2 different leaders. One of the guilds would assume the role of the union leader, and the only difference from the others would be the choosing of who is in the union. Kind of like a squad :)


With this, i think that maybe some of the smaller factions could gang together and take down the bigger TW factions. Of course, this could also mean that the big timers could gang together, but maybe they wont want to. Who knows? I think that it's a good idea.

    That's much needed, then you won't PK alliances on accident. You will be able to see your alliances, and know when they quit being an alliance. With this there should be an alliance chat as well.

    yeah thats wut i wuz thinking too. Also, you could receive help from more members. Ex. if u only know the leader of this one guild and u want to help each other, one of u has to be on to contact any help. It really is annoying.

    it is a great ideal sept i think that it should only allow the two factions fighting in tw cas if we let 2 guilds jump 1 it whould be caos

    On HT world chat I always see guild recruits for some guild (I forget the name of it actually) that is a "sister guild" of a guild that's big on TW. Having alliances like this would effectively double the size of a given guild and make things one sided during TW, even more so if the opposing side couldn't find a good guild to ally with.

    In LC this could make for a real problem if one alliance decided to "guard" a city and PK anyone that tried to enter/exit the area. Probably wouldn't be limited to cities either. They could also "shut down" a spawning area so their alliance could train their members or bring in Venos to tame every spawn to make money or whatever.

    Honestly, it's a good idea, but it most likely won't be implemented simply because it's not practical.

    yeah true about the 2 guilds in TW, but for all the other thingsd it would be great.

    ...pretty sure there's a limit of 80 for each guild in a TW instance.

    This fact eliminates the "overpowered superguildalliance" thing you all seem to be afraid of.

    I for one think that being able to see your alliances and speak to them to boot would be a great addition to PWI.

    I don't even know how many times allied guild leaders have PMed me saying that a guildmate of mine pked one of theirs... XD
    The reverse has happened as well. Kinda annoying, so b:victory to Yuuki's idea! (but boo to the fact that it came from SRO... biggest bot-infested mmo I've ever seen)

    Completely forgot to mention this!

    When PKing, there's a PK sheild for "all," "white name," and "guild members." Having a PK shield for "alliance members" would also be great! :D

    I Like your Idea but id think that each faction would have to know a little more about the other before making a bold move such as that, in other words... I LOVE THIS IDEA AND I TOTTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!

    This idea seems pretty good but there has to be a limit as to how many factions you can have allied with you otherwise your going to form an empire. I would say in neutural about this.

    Pros: Clerics are rare in the world and the allies can lend you them if needed.

    Cons: Too many allies and you will have a mass empire ruling over the server.

    I think this would be a wonderful idea. I have had people leave my guild in order to expand on their own. Private chatting is alright but it would be nice to have them included in a mass chat with my other guild mates. Having an alliance chat with the allied factions, would be amazing. I would say that there does need to be a limit on the number of factions in an alliance, but it could be similar to how factions are set up, paying a set ammount to level up the alliance. IE: level 1 alliance has 3 factions, level 2 has 5, and level 3 has 10.

    The idea is good and it's realistic unlike 99% of the idea in this section.

    The only downside to this idea, is that faction where not originally made to have alliance. If the original code doesn't had left any possibility of having this kind of feature develop, I'm 99% sure that it will never be develop.
