PvP and PvE servers ?

The two new servers are now open and as I am not a high level I want to leave sanctuary to go to Dreamweaver or Harshlands but I realized that they are PvP or PvE servers... But what is the difference?

    TYhe only difference is that on the PvP server you are forced into PvP when you hit level 30, while in the PvE server you have the option to stay out of PvP if you so choose, when you hit level 30.
