question about the expansion

ok well since i quit before the expansion released and im just restarting up now i have to know does the expansion auto download along with the patches or do i have to go to a external link and download the expansion there?
since i cant add a pic cause it keeps saying invalid file/invalid URL i guess i add text im a average player not to hardcore :D

    It's part of the patches. You can't not get it.
