The glow around the armor

I saw it quite often
and i asked someone ingame
and he said something about atleast 2 sockets
and you have to put the exact same gems on it
well for some reason i have that

but i dont glow ^^
so to find out more about it
what EXACTLY is needed to get the glow?
and does it depends on the amount of stars?
and the lvl of the gem?


sorry if this topic is elsewhere already
everything loads really slow so searching
is a hell for me, ty=3

    the shards have to be average ones (or higher?), and you need to put 2 of them in.

    average sapphire shards make it glow white (I'm using them), and I think +hp ones make the armor glow red, but I'm not sure.

    there was a thread about that, but I'm too lazy now^^

    and they have to be lvl 5 gear also. (the gear you get at lvl 30)
