I read it in the sticky but I still don't understand how they work and how can other professions have the same skill as you say celestial guardian.
How do these macro skills work and set them up?
How do Combos/Macros work?
-In your skill window, there's a create button at the bottom. Press it to open the combo maker window. Drag skills or the attack button to the row there, then add the combo when you're done. You can then use that combo as a regular skill - press the button to initiate it.
How do these macro skills work and set them up?
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

Open your skills (R). At the bottom of the skills window, you'll see Edit, Delete, New. Click on New.
This opens another window (called Combos). Click on any of the icons to set your macro icon. Drag the skills you want in your macro to the open slots of your combo macro. Gotta watch cooldown time though, if the skill isn't ready to repeat, your combo won't continue.
Click Save, and you'll see your macro Icon in your skills window. Then just drag that onto your hot key bar, and you're done! To use the macro, just click on it or hit the hot key0 -
pretty much what previous poster said I 'll just add that there is an icon that there is a "repeat" icon. If you put it at the begining of the combo, this will make your combo continue until enemy is dead, your run out of MP, you die, ect.0

Where exactly do you find this "repeat" button for macros? I cant seem to find it (sorry, new to the game).0 -
Also be careful about using a skill that requires chi as if you do not have enough it stops the combo.0
