I know that you won't get much of any exp if the person is a lot higher than you... but from what I know, the exp is evenly distributed but with a slight bonus. So if you normally get 100% exp (duh) you'd get 55% in a party with someone your level. So, if you are both killing mobs at the same time, it would give you a little bit extra :P (teaming on same mobs would slow exp)

You personally will get less XP for each monster that is killed. But collectively, as a whole, your party will get a bit more XP per monster than you would alone.. if that makes sense.

Not taking into account level differences and whatnot.
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.

Bit more complicated than that. Experience is calculated based on highest level party member. So killing lvl 10 mobs with lvl 20 player will bring very little exp.

Party bonus for exp applies only when party members are within certain range of level. I think it's +-10 or something. This means that every extra party member within range will give extra xp from mobs as a total. Don't know exact values but I would guess from experience it to be 10-20%.

Experience is divided between party members based on level. It's not linear so I didn't bother of figuring it out myself. This means that highest level gets most absolute exp per each killed mob and rest get less. Same levels get same exp.
