Can't use Bow

I am a level 6 archer. I started with a bow but after leveling to 2, the bow could not be used. I repaired it and it didn't work. I bought a new bow and that didn't work either. So I have been using a wand and axes. I really want to use a bow. Does anyone know what is the cause of this?

    Do you have arrows? Bows need arrows to work. You can either find arrows from mob drops or buy them from the blacksmith.

    you need arrows
    and you also need to make sure you have the required DEX/STR

    Yes I have arrows. Do I need a certain kind?

    yes. you do.
    some Arrows require a certain level to use.
    get the lowest arrows.
    and also make sure you dont get the arrows for the crossbow. they look simliar to the ones u need

    The lvl stated on the bow is the BOW's lvl, not yours. The required lvl you need to reach is lower on the information window.

    and the first bow you get only works with the arrows you get at the start!
    so go to a blacksmith, and look at bows...buy one according to your level.
    As stated before look nearer the bottom of the bows description (shown when you put the cursor above the picture of the bow) and look at the 'requisite level' and see that it matches yours. Then click on the 'shot' tab that is on the top. Buy the arrows that are on the top left...they are the ones that will work with the new bow you have bought. The arrows you need are called 'woven fang arrows'
