Cant Start PW

Hi im using windows xp and recently downloaded pw
on this computer and i get this error when i click start
after a couple of seconds. Any ideas?

    Reinstall PWI and make sure you verify your files before starting :) May take a couple of tries at verifying...whenever it happens to me (very rarely now), I make sure to verify them two or three times before I start playing - takes a bit of patience, but its worth it in the long run :)

    I had the same thing happen to me after the last emergency patch. I just clicked the "Verify" button and let it do it's thing. When it was finished (The Start button was no longer dimmed out) it came up perfectly.

    hi i cheked my files and i verifing 3 times and this dont work why ??

    I'm going to need some more information from you. Go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

    Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:

    What kind of video card do you have? Judging by that info there isn't any, or you haven't installed any drivers for it.
    Even the integrated ones should return some info on the Dxdiag.

    As Julyah pointed out, you either don't have a video card or don't have any drivers installed for it. Correcting this should allow you to play the game.

    Yeah i kinda realized it when i took screen shot and downloaded the driver its working great now thanks much :)

    abaro: first of all, your error message was different, I know it cause it's all over the place, and there was an easily recognizable word in yours.
    Also you might want to check kloudy's message above yours. I'm pretty sure it will - if not fix the issue then at least - move you forward with the problem.
