Ok currently I am a level 25 Mage on LC who is going to transfer to Harshlands when it opens. I like magic users and would like to know which has the best survivability and does alot of damage, but able to solo at most times. Should I go with:
A: Cleric
B: Veno
C: Mage
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Mage is out unless you're hardcore dedicated to the class and know a LOT about what you're doing.
Veno is great if you have 200 bucks to dump into a phoenix
And cleric is the best if you only have a little money to burn on charms.
On the flip you can always farm for a nix with a Veno, but most guilds are gonna prefer having a couple hercs to start so TTs can be farmed for fast 60 and 70 weaps.Late-start + Late-bloomer on HT server
Switching to PvP for fun and the chance to be top50b:victory
Harshlands class & IGN: Barbarian / Thor
Please don't take my name? If so I will be forced to gank you for the rest of your time on the server b:laugh0 -

Definitely veno if you're interested in mostly doing solo.0 -
Venos can be decent without spending money for a phoenix -.-
i dont know why everyone is FIXD on thinking thats the only way they can be decent.
I personally like the cleric.
easy to level for the most part.
you should never die just heal yourself :P
but they take so much mana.
but yes like the above user stated
Venos are good for solo because of the pet tank0 -
Thank you for the advice everyone but I am gonna let a few more replies in before I make a final decision. Cooki you are absolutley right about the extreme mana use for the clerics. Hysteriumx is right about Venos being able to solo which is good and jacim does make a valid point to all three classes.0

This is how I'd put it:
1. Party-based class: Cleric and Mage.
2. Heal AoE - Cleric.
DPS AoE - Mage.
Solo-based class: --->Werefox0 -
Dont forget about what type of build your wanting with each class.
A: Cleric - Want to be support (a good cleric) or FAC (a bad cleric) :P
B: Veno - What type of armor you gona use? Fox or Human form skills etc.
C: Mage - Light armor, Full int, Vit and the millions of other.Currently playing:
Lirgorn - Heavens Tear - Lv.7X Wiz - Elysium
Akkari - Lost City - Lv.4X Archer - Guildless (as of 19/02/09)
Rolling Harshlands upon release! Archer all the way!

Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he can promptly forget he ever didnt know and call people "noobs" in the fishing forums.0 -
Well as for armor wear for these classes I was thinking Light for all three. I heard that mages wearing light armor is no real difference except Elemental/Phys DEF. How will a Mage and Cleric fair wearing light armor cause my Veno on Sanctuary seems to do pretty well for that type.0
