Rabbit as a battle pet?

How do you use a rabbit as a battle pet? My wife's veno got 5 rabbit eggs and went to zoologist and it ended up as a level 1 all-class pet that she can't fight with but she wanted it to fight with. What should she do to have it as a level 20 battle pet? Should she have gone to the pet skill trainer or the pet manager or what?

    Battle Pets: Hercules and Phoenix
Other Pets: All other creatures you can capture.

In other words. Your wife made an all class pet. Not a battle pet. If she wanted a rabbit to fight with, she should have hatched ONE egg like a regular pet. Because that is what it is. A Regular pet... semi-rare (more common than anything else really) but just a basic, regular pet.

she made an all class pet
those do not do anything they are just aesthetic

to have the rabbit fight you need only one egg
that you hatch at pet manager or pet trainer
    like any other pet

She needs to tame the semi-rare snow hare. It spawns in a few locations every hour. Alternatively, she could buy the snow hare pet egg for about 20k.

Since she already had so many of those eggs already, it should not be to much of an issue for her to just get another. But this time, hatch the bloody egg so she can fight with it. b:chuckle

A veno needs only one egg of a critter in order to hatch it and use it to fight with. If you combine eggs at the Zoologist, you create an all-class pet, which can be used by other classes (hence the name). However, to avoid imbalances, these all-class pets are purely for show. They do nothing more than follow a person around and, if it's a big pet, get in your face constantly.

I still don't understand why for an all class non fighting pet it requires more than one rare egg. It kinda don't seem fair IMO. Us Veno's only need one egg, and the pet actually does something, and everyone else has to be bothered to get multiple eggs, just to get a pet that does nadda. I dunno just don't seem right to me.

Yea I understand it's for show, which is entirely my point, it shouldn't be that hard to get something thats is useless opposed to a pet that actually has purpose.

Maybe it's just me that feels this way. No biggie, was just posting my thoughts on this.

It's kinda the same as clothing. It costs quite a bit for some outfits, yet they do absolutely nothing. It's just something that's nice to look at, yet it's not exactly easy to get.

a battle pet isnt a hercules or a pheonix, there rare pets, all class pets are the ones veno's make for ppl to use as a "fashion pet".

Battle pet is a pet that any class can use in combat (not only veno's can use pets, there just not released in this version of pw, or pw-my as far as im aware)

but battle pets for all class are something i have no idea when there gonna be released...

So we're all quite sure, then, that currently no other class besides venomancers can have battle pets, right? Cuz I've been wanting to buy a battle pet (I'm a psychic) or at least to check out the going-prices for them, but haven't found any non-venomancer battle pets.

All class battle pets will never happen. Ever.

Venomancers only unique feature is the ability to use pets in battle, and they are balanced to this end. Alone, Venomancers deal the least damage out of all classes. We have less survival skills than some classes, and aren't even considered "DDs" in most cases.

Giving other classes battle pets takes away the Venomancers' only unique quality, and would make us even more underpowered. Other classes already deal as much damage, if not more, than a Venomancer and pet combined. Giving these pets to everyone would cause serious balance issues.

tl;dr version: It'll never happen, stop dreaming.
