Raising a low level flying pet...

I rarely ask for venomancer related help, but I was hoping someone could dish me out some advice here.

I want to raise a low level windwalking piggy to around my level, but the process has been so incredibly tedious that it makes me want to to drag a rake over my back.

My pig is level 45 now, and I can still one shot things at level 45 with ironwood scarab, but ironwood takes chi and I can't use it repeatedly without switching to other skills. Anyone have any advice on a specific place to train, or a different method of going about doing this?

I know about Kun Kun, that takes even longer than just raising it on regular mobs. I also know about the cube of fate, but it does not allow flying pets.

Am I missing something or am I just going to have to buckle down and spend 48 hours to do this?

    Its going to take a long time. I'm getting a phoenix in a day or 3 and I'll have to deal with it as well.

    No flying pets allowed in there. The OP even mentioned that.

    I would say just find a good flat spot to grind at and grit your teeth. The beach northeast of Sanctuary is good in my experience. Lot's of good mats to harvest, too.

    my piggy is level 50 close to 51 and he can help me kill any flying mobs for quests etc because hes reallly cool b:laugh but maybe foxwing supremes until 60? or those vampires south of swamp? (forgot the name of place they above lol) they are good. i also have this problem with my turtle lvl 51 lol
