lvl 41, never tried to make anything, now it won't let me?

Well I was playing the game, leveling, grinding, etc...

... but I never tried to craft anything.

Now, when I go to try to manufacture something, I can't select a weapon low enough for my lvl 1 smithing skills. The only selections are for things that I'm not able to make.

So I guess I screwed up?

    Just an idea coming from a newb, but... tried crafting at a newb city? It might just be that the place your at don't have low-level crafting available.

    Just a thought.

    It may help to try crafting at the home city of your species, i.e. Humans/Etherblade, Untamed/City of the Lost, etc. Also try all of the blacksmiths or whatever npc you are needing. One of them may not have the level you need but another one in that city might.

    Yeah, I was able to skill up at Etherblade. I was just looking in the higher level areas I was at. Thanks for the help. :)
