Zhen and Gold?

I was wondering, what is the difference between zhen and Gold?
It says to charge your zhen on the website but buying things in the ingame boutique it charges gold.
Is zhen and gold the same thing? Or am I a blabbering fool talking about things not even related to eachother?

    Another question, When you pay, for instance, ten dollars the site says it turns into 100 or so zhen and gold. So that means things that are thirty gold only take a fraction of your money?

    $10 = 1000 zhen = 10 gold = approx 1 mil coins. Depending on what you buy you'll have leftover gold - but you can always sell that at the auction house, or just buy gold straight from the auction house to get the exact amount you need.

    zhen is what you buy on the website then you have to via the website transfer it to a server into gold, and then itll be in the boutique waiting for you to spend

    only problem with all of your posts is that it is called ZEN. no H in it. https://billing.perfectworld.com

    Zhen has totally different meaning, has nothing to do with real life $$.
