ok so im an archer and i just put a ruby shard on my crossbow because it gives + fire damage and i thought that would go nicely with blazing arrow you know. my question is, was i a total noob for doing that cause i now realize that the fire damage boost from the ruby shard and the damage from blazing arrow might not stack.
do the effects stack?

Most likely, I have yet to try that though, I just use normal shards, not element ones

I dunno how the elemental calculation works in this game, like can a single attack have many elements and so forth...

But my guess is it calculates your normal attack + blazing arrow bonus + ruby damage.

Seeing Blazing Arrow works with percentages adding ATT would have been the best option, I think.

Still, I see no reason it would ignore the damage from the gem!
