    1. Bm aren't tanks
    2. no to be an axe fanboy but axe bms tend to have more hp than blade bms when useing the build nayiro posted

The only thing about making an axe bm into a a tank is that the axe bm doesn't need but 50 to 60 vit because you stun everything in your path; and when everything is stunned, what is there to tank?

As a sword type tank (if that's really what you want) go with enough strength to wear HEAVY ARMOR and enough dexterity JUST TO EQUIP YOUR SWORDS OR BLADES! After that, just dump everything else into vit like everyone has probably already told you.

However, if you really want to be a tanking BM, then I would suggest going with a FIST BM! Let me tell you, using 3 STR / 4 DEX / 3 VIT makes you a terrific tank as a BM. You build your chi back so ridiculously fast that you can spam diamond sutra and regain your extremely high health pool back so freakishly fast! Of course, you have to settle for light armor but hey, what you gonna do? Anyways, Just another thought... my fist bm (with the above build) would run into pkers on the Lost City server and even tho I could not kill them, there was no way they ever got me close to dead. Even when I wouldn't use heiros!!

Oh oh... and one of the roles of a tanking build is to keep arggo and frankly, the BM class does not have the skills it takes to keep arggo. However, there is a solution... wanna hear it?!?! SPEED!! Believe it or not, the fist BM is capable of attacking so fast that is steals arggo from some of the best tanks out there. Or at least that's been my experiences. So be careful if that's what you plan to do!! Just some thoughts to consider when taking a tanking approach as a BM!

    PS. MY LAST SUGGESTION...

Most squads and parties aren't going to want a BM as a tank unless they absolutely CANNOT find a barb to tank. Even then, they still want you to be 10+ levels higher then the boss you are tanking.

So if you really want to be a tank, go with a barb. Otherwise, go with an Axe BM so you don't have to tank! Axe BM for the win!

PSS... Sorry, this is my last thought....

If you go 6 STR / 3 DEX / 1 VIT every two levels on an axe BM, you'll be able to use swords too!! Solves all your problems I think!

do not go fist BM as a tank

pre-60 fist BMs are terrible, low dmg, low HP, low everything.

they start to shine 70+ and own hardcore 90+

You sure using light armor is a good idea for tanks? I agree with the fist part cuz of the high dps which makes it good for aggro grabbing, but light armor? If you have shadowless kick you should only worry about every other mag attack from bosses (meh 12 sec cool down). With the mag problem eliminated you'll be suffering phy attack most of the time. Even with that much vit it's going to hurt a lot.

The funny thing is, I thought it would be a bad idea to go LA as a fist tank too, but let me tell you, it worked out GREAT!! Honestly, I couldn't tell you why, maybe it was just my play style. but the extra 1.5 VIT every level helped TREMENDOUSLY!!

And as for pre 60 fists being horrible, NOT TRUE! I had more hp then my guild mates barbs. Unbuffed of course.

Bud anyways, it was just a suggestion, not something I would recommend unless you really really want to try something completely different from everyone else like i did!

and as for the amount of damage I took wearing LA, I would take on three physical mobs at once without AoE's (as you know, the fist user doesn't have very many AoE's) and not tick a heiro so I actually stopped using it. Well, I tried to stay 1 or 2 levels above the mobs I was questing but still, three on 1 without AoE's or a heiro? C'mon now. I think LA worked just fine. After all, HA is over rated because all that matters is the damage reduction and not the high numbers in physical defense!

EDIT: Also, I'm not saying not to go HA, just with the build I was using, I couldn't use the HAs of my levels so I kept up with LA. I suppose if you went with the rank armors which dont have high str requirements (or any str requirements) you could go with HA. Also, take note that the LA I was using wasn't anything special. No gems, no refining bonus, no nothing in any of it.
