As you can tell from my avatar, I'm a level 74 mage. I hated playing a mage until level 55ish, now I am starting to like it...except that I get annihilated by EVERYTHING in pvp.

I am definitely moving to the new server, and trying to decide what character to create. I keep hearing how mages don't get good until 90+. I'm sure every class gets good at 90+ though. My question is...how good? Do mages become like the best class in the game? Or are they just much better, but still the worst class?

Situationally I know it will be best to be a veno or cleric on the new server, but both of those seem ridiculously boring to play.

    I tried out all classes up til lv 40, and for me, my favorite to play as was the Cleric and the Archer.

    Cleric - you make friends fast, are much needed in all situations, hard to pk with buffs and right skills, can spam healing to tank bosses at later levels.

    Archers - PvP all the way - Nothing beats them, they can deal lots of damage to mobs, fun and easy to play, you look really cool to.

    Barb - I looooved all the Hp i had, but it got really frustrating trying to hit things with the low dex. But obviously gets a lot better later on.

    Veno - I hated having to play as a chick, but if you can get past that, they are super fun. Expensive to pay for pet and yourself, but easy soling and fast leveling.

    Wizard - you know all about this.

    Blademaster - the class i liked the least, had less hp as barb, and same dex problem. deals fair damage, but outdone by archer/mage imo.

    Why do you ask this in the Cleric forums? I can say only one thing, Clerics overpower Mages in PvP and that's about it.

    Now I'm not sure about what you wanna know, you wanna know how Clerics are? Clerics are fast casters with the 2nd best dmg output (after mages) that can heal, buff, debuff and DD, also we have two types of spells: metal and physical. (one of the parts I love the most is that I can do physical dmg as well as magical)

    In my opinion Clerics are the most complete class in the game and maybe a bit overpowered in some aspects but they are very costy and for some it might get boring to be using 2 spells the whole game (Great Cyclone and Plume Shot are the two main attacking spells of a Cleric). It's not boring for me, I like having a char that can do anything and be so great in PvP.

    Mage class dnt rule after 90 , its just balanced then. You must get 79 undine strike , 89 skills then its funny to 1-2 hit lvl80+ people. When you play mage you must know they are not a good solo class and shine in group pvp or Tw if want to solo pk just play a archer.

    here is your proof for gimpness they only gimpped the crab out of us just so that we can be just normal in the end oh am so exited to be count as an equal after you gimpped me for 90lvls b4 :P..
