Disconnect every Minutes

i get every minute disconnect after the updateb:cry

    sorry but glad its not just me. i can stay logged-in barely long enough for the safety lock to turn off... then i am disconnected from the server. I have no idea what is going on, but if someone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

    granted, i'm pretty computer illiterate so here goes nothing:

    i am running windows vista premium home edition if that makes a difference.
    my internet is cable connected thru a wireless network. i have troubleshooted my connection but am having no problems. internet connection seems to be fine until i log into pwi. Have never had connection problems before the patch that i updated today. since then i have not been able to stay connected for more than 2-3 minutes. thanks for any and all help, if possible b:thanks

    Only since the update? Have you tried a verify from the launcher yet?

    where/how do i find the verify from launcher? maybe thats the problem :) honestly like i said i'm not very computer literate :) it says new patch, i click the button... it updates and then i'm good to go...usually :) and yes, this is just an issue since the update. i had no troubles last night. Logged in this afternoon, ran the patch and i havent been able to stay connected since. Again, thanks for your help!! i was hoping to get some much needed grinding in today :)

    i try to log in with my friend account and with his account i dont get any disconnect. so it must be my account that get auto disconnect.but why?

    i asked him to do it cause i want to know if it was my pc problem or my account and sry i didnt know that.
