    The cpu is ****. It's basically a pentium 3.
    http://laptoping.com/intel-atom-benchmark.html

Based on that alone, I couldn't even watch MOVIES with that (h264 would not work at all, even for low-ish res stuff, not even taking into consideration an xp 2200+ could never play back 720p h264 vids).

RAM capacity is pathetic, no modern pc should have under 2 gb. RAM's cheap these days.

I don't see any mention of video card, so it's definately onboard, I don't think you'd be playing much besides tetris with that...
Any laptop purchased with the intent of playing ANY games should be using an actual mobile video card using dedicated RAM (not shared with system ram), of course, you'd need to check benchmarks and reviews to see the if the performance meets your minimum standards. Laptops with a real video card tend to cost a fair bit more, and eat more battery power meaning you better have an outlet.

You'll also want to pay attention to the hard drive that comes with it. It should be at LEAST 7200rpm and 16mb cache or it will be slow.

EDIT: short answer: if pw even runs at all, you'll likely be playing on low and possibly at 640x480...
I've seen much better laptops at a similar price, but that's locally.

Umm i play pw with a 512mb ram desktop computer... And that is even worse
And on top of that. This laptop isnt going to be a main computer.

You can certainly get by with 1gb, I'm just saying the additional cost is a negligible +$15-20 or so.

My old pc was a piece of **** and ran pw on full, but like I said, the graphics card makes all the difference. If it's onboard graphics or shared memory, you'll have trouble running any 3d games. And I sincerely doubt you want a Pentium 3 cpu, that thing's gonna crawl like a baby.

It took my some digging around in several other websites, but I eventually found that it's using a GMA950 graphics chipset.

As other people have pointed out, it's not going to run Perfect World very well (and on an unrelated note, a 9" screen isn't going to be very good at all on your eyes), but it should run it.

The following are my opinions, not representative of PWE.

Please also note, netbooks, and the Atom CPU, are designed to not use very much electricity, which trickles down to not being powerful enough to run the game very well, if at all.

Budget laptops and netbooks are good for schoolwork, word processing, net browsing, listening to music, and watching videos. They do not handle 3d gaming very well, especially games that have come out in the last 4-6 years.

If you attempt it, you will have to turn all of the graphic settings off, and turn all the effects down, to maybe be able to run it. On such a small screen though, with the distances turned off and graphic settings turned off, it'll be like trying to run an exotic sports car (PWI) on a go-kart track (netbooks).
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

An extra $100 would buy you pretty good laptop as powerful (if not more) as mine which will handle PWI very well. Mine costed about 300 GBP ($400 - 500) and has served me well so far. Otherwise you'll really struggle in crowded areas....possibly crashing completely

I already play it,but it is LAGGING like HELL!!!!
Can it be because of the very, very slow internet connection?(around 5kb/s...b:cry)...I wouldn't really mind graphics,but..........this is pissing me off...b:angry I have tried another MMO on it....with same effect, lagging, but not as bad as PW....
    Thanks for the help...b:sad

We cannot tell how it'll be by just looking at a photo of it, we need the specs in plain english. b:chuckle

As for the lag and your internet connection, yes, at least in places where there's more than just a few players and mobs around. Once you reach Arch you'll find you'll lag to hell's hell in the west district as there are hundreds of players around.

If you decrease the distance slider under the UI tab in your settings and turn off customizations, it'll save you quite a lot of bandwidth usage. b:victory

LOL OMG HE POSTED A PHOTO OF IT AND ASKED IF IT CAN RUN PW. LMAO! You really made my day. I have never seen anything like that before. gg

As for the topic starter, that computer might run the game. It just depends on what onbaord gfx is in that thing. But it will be HELL in towns and around people. I used to have a similar spec computer only difference was a GeforceFX 5700LE gpu (which is much better than a laptops onboard gfx). ADC was not playable for me because I was getting below 10 fps. I had to quit the game.

I don't recommend that thing even for occaisional use.

To the OP, I have an Asus EEE 900 which is lower spec than what you posted and I can play world of warcraft to a point. I imagine if you have the best performance mode you could play, just not do anything too serious. If it would help I could load it into my EEE and let you know.

Its a 900MHZ Celeron 1gb ram, GMA 950 7" screen like what you posted.

Trying to play 3d games on netbooks is like trying to drive an exotic sports car on a go-kart track.

The CPUs and GPUs are not designed for power 3d PC gaming, they are designed to be low-power hungry word processors, web browsers, and video/music players.

Sometimes it is more trouble then it is worth, trying to get newer 3d games to run on such a system.

If you can do it, AWESOME. You will have to uncheck/turn off all graphic settings, and turn down any other visual settings to maybe get it to run decently.

This is all completely true, however I imagine you would be able to light grinding and other not very serious stuff with everything turned down.
