I Cant get the "Tame Monster" Skill thing...?

So I've created a veomancer and have successfully leveled up to level 14, and have 1 pet (a wolf).
The thing is I've learned that you can have more than 1 pet at a time, which got me thinking, why cant i?

I've tried killing monsters over and over (with the green symbol saying they can be tamed) for an egg, but still nothing. So i gave up.
Then the next day i found out there was a "tame monster" skill (how blonde). But when i went to talk to the Veno-skill people, it didn't show up as a skill i could learn.
(i talked to my guild, and they said check the quests, which i did but still nothing has changed).
So now I'm posting this to see if ANYONE can Help me on this matter.

    Yeah that happened to me before, but like the other person said its a quest you have to do in order to get the skill.

    There's 2 NPC's in City of the Lost, 1 is the venomancer trainer (For your scarabs and stuff) and next to her is the pet trainer. Talk to the pet trainer, pick the option "Tame (Something)" and there you will see the 3 skills, tame pet, heal pet and res pet.
