What's the next best quest weapon after f19

no need to manufacture ur weapon for now. coz it will not be cheap. go to the auction n bid for a good bow(lvl32) or giant xbow(lvl35). i got my xbow with max att 500 for only 28k which is upgraded with a mirage celestone. quite a good offer.

heres what ive used from 19-68
19-35: fb19 xbow
35-42: 3* giant crossbow
42-60: sinister shooter
60-70: tt60 xbow

auctioner(NPC) can be found in north, south or west of achrosaur. they can be found in all major cities. u can filter the search for a particular item u wan so that u can bid on it. i suggest NOT buying from shops set up by players as they UP price abt 400% of everything. i remember a wood cost 2k-4k when auction only sell way below that! so plan n do ur math before actually bidding for anything, thats how u get a good offerb:laugh

rough fur is rare n hard to get from animal like monster(like wolf or fox), so if u really need some n don mind hunting for it, head to the mines n kill e foxes. it will take very long though. anything to add is that get ur blacksmith to a decent lvl like 2. then u can decompose ur fb19 weapon for a mirage celestone DO NOT sell it to npc as it wont worth much n no players will also buy, so decompose it.

n for ur last qns, a good place to buy ur weapon, auction, always b:pleased
mirage celestone cost abt 25k so do ur math for a 2 or 3 star weapon. also, for 3 star weapon, prepare to fork out at least 60k. but a 2 star weapon will do fine for now so save ur $$ for later lvls

quest weapons are also useful n way better than normal weapons. i think you can get the lvl42 legendary slingshot which will last you till lvl60. but, it will be very very expensive. for it u should have abt 1m+ coin ready or even more. most highly contested weapon for grinding n way more expensive then a lvl60 slingshot. to make it u need a LOT of mat which r hard to get n a mold which needs to be bought(u need blacksmith skill lvl4 at least or u can make it) another alternative is to buy it but it is not cheap. that is why i said save ur $$b:laugh

lvl40 abv is mostly grinding so slingshot weapon will be more efficient than bow or xbow.

More specifically, slingshots are better for grinding because it has the fastest attack rate, and therefore you are likely to trigger more critical hits. Crossbows have the highest damage but slowest attack speed, and are best when you are spamming skills, because skill channelling ignores attack speed and the damage combines will with the crossbow's naturally high damage (although you can get gimped if you roll a low damage figure).

Bows are used often because many players cannot afford to get both slingshot and crossbow.

Basically you grab hold of anything that does a lot of damage, then you get the fb 19 bow which lasts to 35... then you buy a giant crossbow (preferably 3 star but doesnt have to be) and at 42 you buy the mold for sinister shooter which is ~500-600k (on sanctuary atleast - but cash shop exploit has left the AH void of many molds). Alternatively you can hold onto the lv35 crossbow, upgrade to silverwing bow and wait until the lvl 46 quest reward. It is called Bow of the Goddess or something which is ok... but I highly recommend the sinister shooter. Grinding should be cake with the sling and you can easily resell it. At 60, get the TT60 xbow. Weapons then branch off at lvl 70 - this is where you make your decision as future weapons require you to decompose current weapon of the same type. i.e a lvl 80 xbow needs a lvl 70 xbow decomposed material. (others work around this but that's a topic on its own)

@Divine_Demon - do NOT waste rough fur making a low level bow as you will soon learn why (when you hit lvl 50).

If you plan to get over blacksmithing level 3 then rough furs will be precious. I'll tell you outright why because you asked.

At level 50, to get to lvl 4 blacksmith, you need a 2 star heretic banishing pataka (a LOT of silk thread or if you're lucky, neglible), a 2 star ornamented bow (a LOT of rough furs or if you're lucky, neglible) and a 2 star sawtooth blade (a LOT of p.oil or if you're lucky, neglible). Notice they are 2 stars so they mobs don't drop them, and they cannot be picked up from FB bosses (they drop 3 stars) so the only way to get it is to manufacture them yourself OR buy them from other players... don't expect these items to be cheap unless you run into players who do not know about this quest.

So to emphasise on my point again, rough fur is PRECIOUS. (coincidentally...or not... they are needed to make your copper bars which is needed for everything in the weapon grade range of 5-6).

molds generally drop from bosses inside of FBs, (snister shooter fb39) some higher lvl molds can be made from mysterious chips which you can get by doing the cube of fate (mostly 69+molds i believe)
