Many people claim that the archer is the only class without any type of healing skill. I am going to put this rumor to rest and say it is just not true.

There is an archer healing spell: it is learned at level 59 and takes about 2000mp and 1 minute 42 seconds to cast.

20 casts of Wings of Protection @ 100mp and 5 seconds per cast gives you 2 sparks.
Cast Advanced Spark Eruption and BAM! 10% HP regained.

Keep this up for about 17 minutes and you will have regained all of your health at the cost of only 20,000 mp.

So let's have no more archers QQing about lacking healing options.

    [sarc]Wow you must be joking.... I'm not gonna wait 17 minutes every time I want a heal when I'm questing. And WOW, healing sparks! PERFECT use of 2 sparks, 10% HP, mmmmhmmmmmmmm. It's okay I rather pick up a pot or something, or pick a couple herbs to make an apoth pot.[/sarc]

    I'm telling you, Chin is a feisty dude. As long as you hang out with him, everything's all cool and you can stroll along happily and patrol and stuff. But the instant he sees you sitting by the Cenminator, it's all "bros before hoes" this and "I thought you loved me" that.

    Actually I just wanted a photo with Cen-man D: My friend sent me the results from the photo shoot. There were surprising amounts bones and limbs and blood---you know...from Chin's flunkies :)

    Archers actually have several forms of healing, even without any botique help.

    First off, dying will instantly give you something like 10-20% health. And you get a free trip to town. And, usually (but not always), dying will improve your spirit/exp and coin/exp ratios.

    Also, with apothecary, you can make remedies which will restore your health. Usually, your time spent gathering herbs will not greatly exceed time you saved, meditating.

    You can also use potions but inevitably if you use them you will run out. So I would advise against using potions. Just say "no".

    Your best healing power, however, involves using alt-T.

    Except that +50 HP regen stuff really helps make those kill-x quests go quicker since you can simply keep going, like the energizer bunny. b:victory

    I was going to say Chill Out, Sit Down and Meditate "Take it Easy Man" while the rest of the group do all the killing, and you don't have to worry about healing.
    Or do what I did when grouped to kill Suzerix, run in Take a Shot (or 2), Take a Hit (I lost 30% HP), run out of AOE, use a pot or heal from a cleric, run back rinse and repeat. It worked quite well with a good team and Suzerix was no more in no time, mission complete.
    If I'm soloing (what I can handle) I use a similar tactic if the mob is hard, of course making sure I have room to move and not get agroed by other mobs, but then I just learn to adapt to the situation. And by the way I've joined FB's 10+ levels higher than myself and usually survive.
