Making my pet quiet down?

I tamed a cat pet.. well a Lynx, and he hits hard and takes hits really well, but he growls every time I move, every step I take, every action he does.

Is there a .. quiet pet? Just something that won't cause such a ruckus.

Edit: And are Venomancers way overplayed or something? 1,100 topics on our forum and second place is 544..

    Most pets make some sort of noise, just have to find one you can live with. Golems at 17-18 don't make too much noise. You'll most likely want one for it's great tanking abilities. Several threads on them so I'll let you look it up.

    And yes, there are a gazillion venos and we all come here =P

    Let me sum up why the veno forum has more posts.

    Everyone and thier brother has an alt veno.
    People QQ with Veno envy.
    Oh and the daily threads other forum boards dont get flooded with:

    "where is the rarez pets"
    "what time do they spawn"
    "I'm level 1 where do I get my pet"
    "Why is there no Male?!"
    "Is this pet good?"
    "Can I solo this boss?"

    Basically its because of pets.

    Haha, understood and thank you. I'm settling with a Cactopod for now, he's cute, and pretty quiet too. ^^

    Ah, I didnt add that since, majority of classes have different builds... so would be discussed on all boards. Though I will agree we generally have two paths fox or magic, and other classes dont need to pick skill sets(except BMs)
