Can't name my pet, need help.

Ok so I just bought a Pet Collar for 32k so that I could name my Baby Antelope, but for some reason I cant get the collar to work. If tried dragging it over to the pet, going to the pet manager, and right clicking it. I just cant seem to get it to activate. Could someone tell me the problem or tell me what im doing wrong?

    First thing's first: Never, ever buy another pet collar for more than 10k. That's what they sell for at the pet manager in archosaur, and higher levels (20+) are just ripping you off. Wait till you can go to archosaur to rename your pet.
    Next, I believe there's a "rename pet" option when you talk to the pet manager.

    Well I just found out that I got ripped, but i'm in arch, and I went to the pet manager and the pet skill manager and neither had something like that. Maybe I have to take it to the elder?
