How does pet tameing work

What does each of the faces mean?

Green

Yellow

Red

and No face?

    Green: Easy to tame
    Yellow: Moderate to tame (exactly your level, maybe a bit lower)
    Red: Can be tamed, but your own level is too low
    No face: Can't be tamed

    so if its red, then i need to lv up a bit before i can tame it?

    You have a *chance* to tame it but that chance is very low. You're probably better off leveling until you're at least its level before trying to tame it... you won't be able to use it anyway. b:chuckle

    No, red face can't be tamed. No exceptions.
