Newb Question

I hiked over to the Plume Lake to snag a saufly, but found my longest range spell couldn't reach them at any of their locations. How does one engage these before flying becomes available?

    Find one flying low, or get a flying character to pull one down for you.

    a lot of vendors also sell sawflys for a relatively low price. Even though they're not hard to catch, 2,000 wasn't an unfeasible amount to pay for a sawfly egg since my veno can't fly yet.
