Do the wraith's have a set spawn time, or is it completely random?

Either it's random, or triggered by something ingame.

I can play for hours without seeing one annouced, then all of a sudden two come up almost at the same time. Other time, they are more equally time spread.

Thanks Brit for the sig b:laugh

From what I understand, the game basically rolls a die every hour to determine if there's going be be a wraith attack or not. If it's a yes, another die is rolled to determine the location of the attack. So there's a chance of it happening every hour. As for the exact odds I've no idea.

This does not explain why sometimes i've seen 2 within a 10minute interval of each other.

But can it only be triggered by gm's, or would it happen anyway even without intervention.

I'm not sure but i think the wraith attacks are triggered by players using this item(s), which drops from mobs at a very low rate. Of course, i may be wrong cause i've never seen this item ingame...

Badges of bravery don't do anything except give you spirit...

They are only useful to people who have rank 8 so they can get their rank 8 weapon... which btw, no one is even close to half way there yet. Have fun collecting pointless badges ^^
